No, he doesn't seem small to me. Do you know what he measures at the withers. He will still grow a little more and then he will start filling out and getting some more muscle mass.

Great Danes are NEVER done growing at 1 1/2 yrs old. Usually closer to 2 1/2 years old. He seems perfect size for his age.

No he doesn't look small for his age and he can grow anywhere from another 6 months to another year and a half depending on his lines.Danes grow in height anywhere from 2 - 3 years of age and will fill out usually between 2 & 3 years.
How big were his parents/grandparents?? Their size will help you determine pretty much how big he will be.

lol, looks like he could do the kid in in about one bite. We had a Great Dane, she didn't stop growing till approximately 2 years of age. I would say to expect a little bit more from him. He is a beautiful dog though.

Good Luck!!

He might grow a little more. The majority of dogs are finished growing by 2 years of age, if not a little sooner. He will most likely "fill-in" some between now and then.
He is huge compared to those babies!

umm LOL! he's not finished growing yet!

he's fully grown when he is about 3 to 4 years of age, i had a great dane called Blue. He grew to the size of a shetland pony.

All you need to do is make sure he is happy!

Nope he doesn't look small to me either but Giant breeds dont stop growing until they are 2 to 3 years old then they fill out. so he's got some more growing and filling out to do. don't worry he's beautiful! cute baby too! :)

I'm not a dog expert but I think he still can grow. Don't trust my answer that much though.
