are reeves turtles good pets? how big do they grow? my local pet shop sells them for $10 each. is this too expensive?

They grow to about 5 inches. They are semi-terrestrial, which means they need half water, half land. This can be tricky to provide, but here is a good link with setup and care info:

I'm raising a hatchling Reeves. He's housed in a shallow water tank for now with land but he rarely comes out of the water. They get up to about 4-5" if they're the Chinese variety, the Japanese ones get a little bigger.$10 is a good price but are they wild caught or captive? I got my Cody for $35 and I know he's a captive bred baby and I know the breeder. Always go Captive bred, they're acclimated to people and captive diets as well and parasite free.
