Is your beagle new?? Sometimes animals get jealous if you pay more attention to the new pet. That happend with my cat when i got a new kitten. Just put them both in your room but give most of your attention to your cat. Showing the kitty that you love it even tho you have a dog right there that you could be petting but, your petting her instead. After a little while the cat will realize that you still love it.

If you have a dog you should already have his needs down pat. Feed him at the same time every day (you pick the time) and walk him after that so he can poop outside. It's not hugely complex, dogs like to do things on a regular schedule, you have to be the one to set the schedule.

Your cat will sleep wherever she wants to , you can't force her to stop or to do something she doesn't want to. Let her do what she wants. Ours find different places to sleep, and change their preferences all the time. They'll think the couch is the best place for a week, then switch to the bed for 2 weeks, or the upstairs for a while.

Well, what changed when the cat stopped sleeping in your room? Was it when you got the dog or the dog started sleeping with you? This happened to my cat who I've had for 11 years. She always slept with me until my ex moved out & the other cat took over my bed. The other one was very upset & wouldn't come in my room any more.
You should feed the dog morning & supper time & also walk it after breakfast & evening. If you are home during the day, then also let it out if it has to go.

I would be willing to bet that the cat is jealous of the beagle. Whenever I have foster kittens around the house, my cat refuses to sleep with me, and I'm guessing you might have a similar situation on your hands.

As far as the beagle goes, just feed it when it's hungry, walk it when you have time to take him for a good walk, and a schedule will naturally start to fall into place from there.
