my dog is only a pup and is about 10 months old.just today,she was told to stay outside.it was VERY VERY cold,so cold their is a bug going round from colds.when she came back in,about an hour and a half after that,she well,it was like as if she was sniffing and when she did it,it sounded like a pig oinking and then,while whe was "oinking" it was like as if she was about to be sick.is my dog sick and if so,what do i need to do.????

There has been a dog that has been running around my mom's neighborhood for awhile now so I decided to keep her because I felt sorry for her & I know she has worms because she's a stray, but I wanted to know if there are any home remedies that I can do to get rid of them or at least keep them under control until I can afford to take her to a vet? And somebody told me that garlic will help them... is that true? Please help!

Ok, so last year around this time i got a little baby red eared slider. He lived in a 10 gallon tank for a while, then from eating fish, pellets, and swimming around a lot, he grew pretty big.
I moved him to a 40 gallon aquarium quite a while ago.

Ok so, one day about a month ago i come him and go in there to watch him and feed him, he is gone.
I look on the floor and there is a spot where it looks like he landed.

I suspect my cats got him out.

His tank was high up so i figured he was dead wherever the cats drug him off.

I spend days searching my entire house except for my room because i thought i had my door closed that day.

So today i went in there to clean out my closet and i almost had a heart attack because my turtle is in there.

I figured he was dead, so i got a cloth and picked him up.
He is alive.
He used to be meaty and healthy. He is SOOO skinny now. I put him back in the tank but he has been out of water for like a month and he is floating near the top. HELP!!!???

One of my friends is getting rid of kittens, and I really want them. I already have outside cats that they could stay with, and we have PLENTY of room for them. My problem is getting them here however. My friend said his mom wanted to know if my parents would let me have them, and I didn't exactly ask them..but we've gotten stray cats every year, and i could use a cover up story that I thought they were my neighbor's cats (they always have cats...) My only problem with that is if my friend's mom calls to ask if my parents said yes, then I'm crap outta luck... So I need some QUICK advice replies to see what you think I should do, I'd really appreciate it. Also, don't bother telling me to just forget it all, because I'm determined to try it.. We've already gotten 2 stray cats this year, plus I think my 8 year old cat just died this past week(or she ran off for a few days atleast) and my other cat lost her 1st litter last spring.. We get stray cats every year so its not a big surprise...

i give my cat food whenever i see the food bowl is empty. means i just simply refill. but i don't know how much i should really give. sometimes after they bowl is empty, they keep asking for more in the next 2 or 3 hours. i don't know they are still hungry or just over-pampered. my cats range from 8 months-3 years old.

i alternate between iams, purina, whiskas or any good food i find in the pet shop or recommended by the vet.

what about you?

do you feed your cat according to time like morning, afternoon, etc or just simply put it whenever they are asking. how much do you usually put?

Me and two other friends went to Petsmart yesterday, all 14 years old, to buy some feeder fish, just to have, not to feed them to other fish. We were at the counter and the clerk and the person that put the fish in the bags didnt say anything about you have to be 18 years or older to buy feeder fish. But then the manager took them away from us saying you have to be 18 years of age or older to buy them.

So, do you really have to be 18,
or did that manager just not trust us?

*HELP**HELP*oki so pls... I dont want any bull**it things such as its inhumane to do it and bla bla bla... oki so my mum just de clawed our cat and the vet said not to remove his bandages before 20 hrs after the operation... 5 hours on he managed to take of one of his bandages... within the next hour the other... we tried to place them back but no use...
We are really worried... its 10pm and no vet is open... The floor is full of blood and hes shaking and crying... What can we do?? Pls i do not feel like lame questions... we are really worried and have no idea what to do... pls *HELP**HELP*

I have 4 dogs, they all bark when people walk in my house but after one of them had puppies, she changed. It's been about 2 years since she's had puppies and now when people walk in or out of our house, she bites them. But she'll only do it to some people. Not everyone. why is she doing this and how do I make her stop?

I have a cage with a dwarf hamster in it for my sister, and I want to know how to wrap it. I'd say it's about 1 1/2 foot by 1 1/2 foot. I don't want it to just have a bow around it, either. I want her to have to OPEN it. But it has to be able to breathe, etc etc. Thanks!

Sorry, I know how much we all hate the "what should I name my dog" questions, but I'm about to contribute to the problem.

We're getting another Papillon tonight- it's Louie's half brother :)

I already have a few names that I'm considering but there's one that I'm in love with....there's a slight problem with it though. I really like the name "Diamond" but the puppy is a boy- does Diamond have too much of a feminine connotation?

I'm not asking for suggestions for names or whether or not I should name the puppy Diamond. I just want to know if you think it's too girly for a boy dog. If you met a boy dog named Diamond, would you find it strange?

I feed my pup Solid Gold Wolf Cub, which she was origanily on Pro Plan which was suggest by my vet, Why would they have told me that Pro Plan was so good for my pup when really it gave her skin issues and less energy, every since I switched her she has even more energy than befor which I didnt think was possible, but again why would my vet suggest Pro Plan ?

I thought about opening my own animal shelter but I don't know how I'd do that and my dad said most animal shelters are headed and run by volunteers. Is this true? I also heard there's a career called a cruelty investigator but I don't know how you'd get into that either or how much it'd pay. I'd love to train guide dogs, but again I don't know how good the pay would be.

I've got a 4 yr. old.... The 4th one I've had in my life-time,and they've ALL, Scratched and clawed on their back.
Mostly,where their tail and body join together !! She has no fleas... I've treated her for Hot Spot's,changed her diet !!
This is the 4th Pekenese,and I'm starting to just accept that it's just that breed of dog !! Some Chinese Fungo-Mungo is what I call it
