If they are not neutered then chances are they wandered off in search of female "companionship". If you have a photo of them, make some fliers and offer a reward -you don't have to put an actual $ amount, but people would be more likey to recognize your cats if a reward is offered. Make sure you contact ALL of your local animal shelters and give them a description of your missing pets as well as -if possible- a photo of your pets. Most animal shelters have no laws on time-limit for cats and if they are full, it is possible that your cats can be euthanized as soon as they come in, so a photo is of utmost importance. Next, call your local newspapers and place LOST ads and go online to search for local lost/found web pages -it's usually free to post ads online. Good luck with finding your kitties, if and when you do get them back -and if they aren't already- make sure you get them neutered so this won't happen again!

If there was no ID on their collars, they can't be returned to you so could have been found and taken to the pound or animal control. I really hope you've been in contact with both places, any strays picked up and taken in are only kept for 5-7 days then either put up for adoption or euthenized.

Have you put notices up at all the grocery stores around you? Have you called all the closest vets within 10 miles and asked, and put notices up on their bulletin board? Have you put up flyers in a 4 block area?

Have they ever wandered off before? Cats when outdoors will go wherever they please and do not stay just around their home...they could just be out exploring the neighborhood or someone could of even catnapped them...hard to say really. Do you have pictures of them you could photocopy and put up some missing posters around your town and also contact any vet offices and animal shelters around to let them know they are missing in case someone brings them in.
