One of my friends is getting rid of kittens, and I really want them. I already have outside cats that they could stay with, and we have PLENTY of room for them. My problem is getting them here however. My friend said his mom wanted to know if my parents would let me have them, and I didn't exactly ask them..but we've gotten stray cats every year, and i could use a cover up story that I thought they were my neighbor's cats (they always have cats...) My only problem with that is if my friend's mom calls to ask if my parents said yes, then I'm crap outta luck... So I need some QUICK advice replies to see what you think I should do, I'd really appreciate it. Also, don't bother telling me to just forget it all, because I'm determined to try it.. We've already gotten 2 stray cats this year, plus I think my 8 year old cat just died this past week(or she ran off for a few days atleast) and my other cat lost her 1st litter last spring.. We get stray cats every year so its not a big surprise...

By the way. Its not like we just collect them, we take them in. They also are not "kitten machines", its not like we don't get them fixed. We just had ONE cat have kittens, not twenty. The stray cats that come obviously don't have homes so we feed them. We haven't had a cat have kittens in years other than this past spring . My 8 year old cat may have died because of an incurable disease that we went to the vet alot for, but they couldn't fix (she was still a very happy cat) Right now we only have 4 cats;1 female who doens't have kittens and 3 males that get along well. If you are going to give me a answer telling me its evil to get so many cats or something, don't bother answering. Thank you :)

You should let these kittens have a home where they can be indoor cats. Indoor cats live much longer than outdoor cats, are healthier, and have a better quality of life. If they are little and you let them live outside they are likely to be attacked or eaten by a predator. Unless you can talk to your parents and get them to agree to let you have these cats live in the house, let someone else adopt them. They will grow into cats really fast anyway - so soon they won't be kittens, but cats, and you already have a bunch of cats. By about 5 months of age, kittens look like small cats. And since they can't leave their moms til they're at least 2 months old, that only gives you 3 months of kitten time.

Do you KNOW how irresponsible it is to keep taking in cats and not getting them fixed so they are forced to live a life as kitten machines??????
Your friend should try and find them REAL homes....the kind that take care of the cats and not just collect them.
They deserve better and your friend owes that to the kittens since she let them be born.

They y'all should spay and neuter.

Yeah, I really don't believe what you say...and if your parents do NOT know you get these kittens, how are they going to go and get fixed and vaccinated???????
IF the older cat had an "incurable" disease. why was it just out wandering??? Good owners keep ill cats in the house and watch them, they have them put down when they are really sick...they don't leave them to just wander off and die. That is sad and NOT good ownership!!!!
You still have ONE unspayed cat, so you really don't need anymore. What you are doing IS collecting. Don't care what you call it, you keep getting cats and not giving them what they need. Try and justify it all you want, but that is what this is. The kittens would do WAY better in a GOOD home where they are pets...not outdoor items that just hang around.
