what size tank and what size heating pad is it, if its too big you can put it halfway on the bottom and wrap the rest to the outside of the side of the tank and tape it there

You stick the sticky part on the bottom of the tank on one side. This will leave more than half the tank cool unless your tank is so small that the pad will take up the whole thing. In that case, attach the pad to a piece of glass or tile and then put part of it under the tank. Make sure you have a thermostat to regulate the temperature or it will get too hot.

With UTH pads, you peel off the paper and stick the sticky side to the bottom of the tank. Stick it at one end of the tank. Use the little feet provided to keep the tank raised off the table a little so the pad can "breathe" and does not have the pressure from the tank directly on it. Is this what you wanted to know?

albino corn snake! That's cool,i bet it's cute, well you have to stick the sticky part to part of the tank. well I'm not sure but i think that the problem is that your heating pad is to big (right)?

DO NOT STICK THE PAD TO THE CAGE !
REPEAT, DO NOT STICK THE PAD ON THE CAGE.
It cud possibly crack ur terrarium.
Just slide it under the tank on the side you want.
