well actually the Panda is NOT a bear.. its a member of the raccoon family.

No, you cannot get one as a pet. They are on the endangered speicies list. Only places like zoos and wildlife rehab facilities can have Pandas.

I think Panda's can also be quite aggressive. It would be expensive to feed one, as you'd need ALOT of fresh bamboo.

If you love the animal so much, you could make a donation towards a wildlife preservation fund.

There are "panda" hamsters.. which are black and white and marked similar to a panda bear.

panda is actually a bear. Its just called panda because its a different breed of bear. However, they are huge creatures when fully grown up. They can easily weigh around 285 lbs to 300 lbs for male and 265 to 280 lbs for female.

Why you need such large animal? you will feed this giant?

no, the panda is not available as a pet in a personal home because it is an endangered species. Any animal on the endangered species list is not allowed to become domesticated (as in, you can't own a panda in your regular home).

No they're on the endangered list...
Also Pandas are notorious for the ridiculous amount of care and money needed to maintain their habitat and just to feed them. They would need so much care and money that a normal person would not even be able to afford one. You'd probably abandon it and it'd die a miserable death while enviromentalist group track you down and you lose even more money.

haha! I doubt a regular person can own a Panda. Not only are they so few in population, but beyond expensive and can be tempremental. And you'll definitely need alot of bamboo :)
