how come when you pet a cat right above it's tail it kinda makes a squirmy movement that ripples across the whole body? is that a sensitive spot or something? they don't seem to mind me when I pet them there but it seems like as a reflex they do that... what is it?

I notice that too but I don't pay much attention to it. I think its a reflex too.

Yea that's pretty much a sensitive spot for most cats. He likes it and that's why his body makes the squirmy move.

my cat does the same thing....im not so sure but it maybe a sensitive spot
