Sure. All my cats have thin hair on that spot, and its more obvious on light coloured cats. But if its too thin and the skin is showing more then you should go see a vet.

Completely normal. Usually it's more noticeable on a black cat or dark furred one, but it happens to most cats.

Absolutely. It's completely normal. On some cats, it's more obvious, sometimes because of the fur color or length.

no, it's not normal. my cat had that and it died....doctors said it was hair problems.....
