Dogs have seasons at six monthly intervals but cats call every three to four weeks.

It's time she was spayed.

A cat can go into heat until they get pregnant.
As you can probably see it is not a pleasant condition to be in especially if she is not to breed.
She needs to be fixed or she will continue to go through heats.
You need to seriously ask yourself why you haven't had her spay.
Are you breeding her? There are thousands of kittens in this world that need immediate placements.
Is it because its too expensive? Care credit is available. No interest incurred if the balance is paid off within a year.
Do you honestly believe a cat should be in tact after seeing them experience a heat cycle?
There is no health benefit to keeping a cat in tact.
Stop the cycle and get her spay.
You'll both appreciate it.

If your cat comes into season and is not mated she come into season within a couple of weeks.
Your best bet unless you have an exceptional pure bred show cat would be to have her spayed.
Spaying her not only prevents her from having further cycles, but also helps protect her against pymetria, a uterine infection that fills the uterus with puss and can be fatal, as well as mamary tumours.

Good luck with your cat- please get her spayed.

Every time that poor cat is in heat she is not comfortable. Are you old enough to have your period? Well the cat in heat feels all of that Plus a terrible ickky feeling.
She can get cancer going into heat all the time and the world doesn't need anymore kittens. Get the poor thing fixed.

Cats are seasonal breeders. This means they go into heat in the spring with the change in light and weather and they continue going in and out of heat until the season changes or they become pregnant. It would be best to spay her before she becomes pregnant.

Cats can come into season and go in and out three times in one month--they don't have one season every six months, it comes when their hormones push them into it.

Get her fixed, a fluctuation hormonal shift like this as a steady thing is hard on their bodies.

It's not abnormal. Are you a knowledgeable breeder, or just a casual owner who forgot to spay your cat?
