I don't know whats wrong with my cats. Most of the cats that are sick have just been fixed one of the kittens though hasn't been fixed. A few months ago one of my cats started to throw up and he wouldn't eat or drink ANYTHING at all. He's a outside cat and he had just been fixed before he got sick. He went outside one day and never came back. He ALWAYS comes back. Now more of them are sick. One of the cats she's like 3 years old or more then theres another one that is almost a year old then theres 3 kittens. One of the kittens that have it last night he died within hours of all this. This is what happens. They start throwing up they wont eat they wont drink and their lips and gums are a pale color.. Does ANYONE know ANYTHING about this or what it is and what I need to do???????????????? Help!!!!!

I know males are very aggressive and would kill it without a doubt, but do you think female lions or any other type of big cat would?

I just adopted two female four month old kittens. They are both all black, long haired, and look very much alike. I'm having a hard time picking names for them. I think matching names would be cute. Any ideas?

The shopkeeper says that these are hen eggs. Can anyone tell me whether these eggs are really eggs laid by hen as the shopkeeper claims or are these eggs laid by some other birds? How can all eggs sold by the person contain double yolks inside. If anyone has any knowledge about this please let me know and what species of birds lay such eggs.

i have a new puppy and i don't know how to name her suggestions??

OK, my puppy is a newfie/saint mix (3 months old) and on "nice" day (like mid 20's or higher, not a lot of wind) he loves to be outside all the time. This includes wanting to go outside just to laydown. For example, our backdoor is fenced in, so he will come and laydown on the stoop and go to sleep, but if you try to call him in, he walks away and goes to lay down in the snow. Is this normal for this breed(s) of dog? Is it ok to let him sleep outside for a little bit during the day on nice days? I do check on him about every 10 minutes and we don't force the dogs to go outside except when they are playing and get pretty rowdy. Also, we always try to be outside with out dogs, since my smallest is a little escape artist, but do I need to be outside if he is just laying down right outside the door? Also, he will let me know when he wants to come in by either going from laying down to sitting when I come to the door or pawing at the door. Thanks!

I have a friend who was trying to give away her 6 weeks old german shepherd, border collie, golden retriever mix puppies when they are 8 wks old. I was tempted to take one, because I really wanted a puppy. But after thinking about it, I knew it wasn't a right fit for our family. Too big, lots of shedding, couldn't keep her in the house... especially since I have a daycare. So I decided to go with a maltipoo from a breeder. My friend was a little bummed, and I felt bad, but i couldn't take a puppy. What would you have done? Also, what are good way to advertise puppies? in your state paper?

I am fostering a momma dog (Beagle) with four puppies, about 10 days old now. They started having runny noses about 5 days ago and have been on antibiotics (Amoxicillin- drops) for 4 days now. My question is when they will stop having the runny nose. Since antibiotics only prevent the cold from becoming a bacterial infection and does not cure the cold or the symptoms, when will the symptoms go away or better yet... when will they get better? Please any honest answers are greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance! 10 pts- best and honest answer!

I noticed that my bunny has his poops stick to his butt. I know that bunnies produce 2 kinds of poops, and they eat one of the two to help their digestion. What should I know and do to help my bunny to keep his butt clean. Maybe he is overwight and can't bend to eat his poops? I feed him twice a day. Mornings: baby carrots with some greens: lettuce or broccolli or parsley. And for dinner he has 1/3 of a cup of dry food (the one that's not colored).
Please tell me what do I do wrong?

We can not take care of each other. We can not feed all the people on the planet but here in America millions are being spent to catch, sterilize, release and feed feral cats. Where are our priorities ?

This has got to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard of. These people are animal lovers, but they prefer cats over song birds, chip monks, rabbits, and all the other NATIVE animals that feral cats kill by the billions. Whole species have been wiped out by cats.

This notion that putting sterilized cats back into the wild keeps other, non sterilized cats from taking their place is bogus. If you put sterilized cats in one place it just forces the non sterilized ones to move to a second place.

Seriously if you are putting food in feral cat's mouths, it is not going to the mouths of starving PEOPLE.

We have a 16 Year Old Male. This morning we found him laying on the floor not moving, he was breathing and all but wagging his tail and moaning here and there. We found throw up on the floor and poop on the floor with drop of blood on the poop. It is a Sunday and the Vet is going to charge us big time! What do you think is going on?

Ok i have my horse boarded at a place where there is a 2 hour trail. I really want to take my horse on it, but my instructor told me that i shouldnt because there are many hunters back there in the woods shooting rabbits. She is afraid my horse would freak out.

Does anyone have advice on what i should do if he does scare on the trail?
What is the best thing to do if he suddenly freaks?
Thanks
