it was just a small string. probably about 3 inches long. I put it on her head but i didnt expect her to eat it. haha. so will she be okay?

She's done it before but there would always be a peice hanging out of her mouth so we could easily pull it out

Yes it can hurt her. I was watching animal rescue the other day and a cat swallowed a needle with string on it. The vet said that the string can go through there lower intestines and cut them. I would take her to a vet and have her looked at.

Since it was so small, it probably won't harm her. Your little kitty is lucky, mine once swallowed a REALLY long string and he had to go in for surgery to get it out. Be cautious with the long stringy things because if your pet eats one that is too long, there is a chance it can get caught in their system, making them really sick. The 3 inch piece of string should be able to pass through her system within a few days. good luck! oh p.s.. maybe you should try catnip instead of string. =)

It should pass right though her which is kind of gross but not so bad. However, if she makes a habit out of this, I'd try and keep string away from her.

In a day or so, you'll finding it hanging out the other end...where you can pull it out from there too...HaHa Ha
