The color of their poop depends on what you are feeding it. My bird eats a mixture of colored pellets and natural pellets. He favors the green pellets so his poop is green alot of the time.
Its really the constinancy that you need to worry about.
Of course, we have no clue what type of bird you are talking about.....so this could all be worthless info.

It depends on the color green that it is. Dark green is fine. If you get a bright green then the bird may be sick.

Normal droppings will be somewhat solid with a small amount of urine. The urates (white) will always be present. It will be a brown or dark green. Sometimes depending on what you feed your bird it may be colored such as if you feed them colored pellets. so, you need to take that into consideration.

The time to worry about the droppings is if there is more urine than droppings. The urine should surrond the droppings...kinda like trimming the edges. If it is mostly urine there may be a problem. Bright green or black coloring is not good. If there is no white present there is also a problem. It should always be solid (unless we are talking about babies). runny stools is another indication of a problem. In the wild it is survival of the fittest bird. Birds hide their illnesses very well. So, you need to note of any unusual activity...a change in droppings, fluffed up bird, lathargic, sitting at bottom of cage etc. Sometimes even watching for things don't do any good. I have had birds look fine and then 2 hours later be dead with no signs...not even in their droppings. Once a bird is displaying sickness it is usually much to late.

Green poop is normal in the realm of baby poop. "Green", "poop", and "normal" all in one sentence. It's so surreal but is most of the time true but here is a little more information to help you out. The reason poop is often brown is that your red blood cells live for only three months at a time, and when they die, their hemoglobin gets broken down. Hemoglobin is made up of several protein chains attached to a porphyrin ring which contains an iron atom. When a dead red blood cell gives up its hemoglobin, the proteins and the iron get recycled. The porphyrin ring gets broken down to bilirubin, which gets picked up by your liver, converted into a green substance called biliverdin, and excreted into the bile which goes into your small intestines and eventually into your large intestines. There, most of the biliverdin is converted into a yellow substance called urobilinogen. Some of the urobilinogen gets converted into a red substance called stercobilin. So you've got a little bit of green, a lot of yellow, and a little bit of red and, if you remember color mixing from elementary school, the result is brown. If your liver is dameged or your bile duct is obstructed, the biliverdin doesn't make it into your intestines and your poop turns white or gray because it doesn't have any strong pigments. I have consulted with a doctor, a physiologist and a microbiologist on this question, and the following summarizes their answers: Healthy people can have green poop if they eat a diet rich in leafy green vegetables, or if they consume large quantities of food coloring (in ice cream, cake frosting etc.). Green poop can also be caused by excess iron in the diet, from dietary supplements, for example. If the body does not absorb all the iron consumed, the iron may stain the poop green, the color of iron (II) salts. Ordinarily, the green color may be masked by the normal brown poop color, but if digestion is thrown off by illness so that bilirubin is less concentrated in the intestine, the green color may become apparent. This can happen when a person is afflicted with diarrhea. Green poop in SICK (if your baby isn't acting sick then again it is normal due to the liquid diet) babies may come from iron in baby formula not being properly absorbed, or by green pigments in bile salts (again, green from iron).

it all depends on the type of bird.

Not normal, for a bird. Usually means it is mildly ill. If it is a smaller bird, give the bird some spray millet. Cut back on the fresh greens and fruit, for a few days.
