Ok ill keep it short n sweet.
this is not a time where you should be on Y!A If you suspect your cat is dying, he sounds really sick and it does not matter what the vet charges you! If you love your cat enough which I know you do as you are concerned just as i would be. Im sure your vet will b able to make some sort of arrangements for financial side of things. Dont think about that now.
PLEASE JUST GET TO THE VET!
Feel free to email me with any questions at any time, ill be happy to help. Let me know how you get on.
Kindest regards,
Amanda.

I'm sorry to say that you need to let her go. Most cats don't live this long and I am sure you have given her a great life. Now it is time to let her go. Make her a comfortable as possible and say your good byes. Its on of the hardest things you can do. If you can watch her suffer than take her to the vet who will more than likely tell you to put her down. My heart goes out to you he is a part of your family and its a heard thing to go through.

He sounds really sick.. It there's blood in the poop it is something serious.. you need to go ahead and get him to the vet... Tell them you can't afford to pay big money and they will more than likely just diagnose him for you.. they don't have to fix the problem if you don't have the money, they may just put him to sleep rather than see him suffer and that's the humane thing to do.. I wouldn't just let him lie there in pain... just go on up there and take him in so they can at least get a look at him and maybe do something to make him feel better... it's up to you if you have him treated or not... but at least you can see to it that he's comfortable... not fair or humane to let your buddy lie in pain... do the right thing and get him up there as soon as possible!!!!

He is very sick and possibly dying. Your choice would be to let nature takes its course and sit by and watch him die, or take him to an emergency vet who might be able to save him, or might suggest you put him to sleep which probably is a kinder death than letting nature takes its course.
I can tell you from experience that if you decide to just let nature takes its course, you may experience a lot of painful regrets once hes gone because you didn't do all you could for him. The money you save will not be much comfort when your long time companion is dead and gone.

my cat was like that, turned out she'd posoned herself nibbling a houseplant. (we never knew the plant was toxic).
sadly she died on the way to the vet, she was just 3 yr old...
when i phoned the vet the last thing on my mind was the cost.
sadly she did not make it to the vet so i had no bill...i'd have paid anything to have got her there and save her life.......
i did know in my heart though that even if we'd made it to the vet she'd still have died....... even paying the vet to let her go and be paid free would have been worth the money

Cat Life Expectancy Cat Average Life Expectancy in Years10–14,Maximum Life Expectancy in Years 30+ Get yor your child to a vet
Cat life expectancy
Cats have been documented to live over 30 years; in the Guinness Book of World Records, the oldest cat is 34-36 years. In human years a 30-year-old cat is over 130, and a 34-36-year-old cat is between 150-160. In Scotland, a cat is reported to have lived to be over 40 years old.
The average domestic cat lives 14 years, and mixed-bred cats live longer than purebred. Feral cats live about half as long as domestic cats because they have more fights, accidents, illnesses, predators, and food shortages. Cats can continue to breed even in their senior years. Twenty-year old cats have reared kittens. In human years, a cat that is 20 is about 95 years old.

An owner that cares about a severely sick cat wouldn't hesitate to take it to the vet regardless of cost.
Why do you think people online can diagnose your pet? Get him to a professional or you won't have a pet to post about.

ultimately its your choice.. hard to say if he will live and could be helped by a vet or if the vet would only be there to make his suffering shorter...
which is harder on you?? a loss of cash or knowing an animal is suffering???
try to determine the problem..does he go out?? was he poisoned??
its really your call.. I suspect the kitty will not live long

Still take him to the vet. He may have an enlarged heart or something deadly. He might be dying! P;lease spare his life and take him to the vet. Believe me my aunt is a vet and I'm a vet intern ( becoming a vet) and it sounds like something big. It could be a series of things!
