fixed. They were eating canned cat food at the time. She is back now and healed up nicely. We didn't want another batch of kittens. But all of a sudden they are getting diarrea.
My husband took them off canned food and give them purina hard or dry cat food. Which is actually better for them, the dry food or the canned food.

It depends on the brand. If you buy a top quality dry cat food(felidae, Innova, etc...) and a cheap wet food,t hen the dry food will be better. If you do it the other way around then the wet food will be better. :P

As far as what texture is best: wet food. It's closer to what they would eat in the wild(meat!). In the wild, cats do not eat dry crunchy meat. :(

However, the downside of wetfood is the diarreah. :(

I would stick with half dry and half wet. ;)

sister, I have two cats but I got them as kittens. I always give them dry food. the canned food is to soft. another sister has dogs and she gives her dogs soft food and they are losing there teeth. this way the dry food can stay out all day and night and when they are hungry, all they have to do is go over to the bowl.
