im crate training my dog and he sleeps in there all night thats great but he wees all over his bedding and the bedding and him gets really wet how do i stop him doing this as i thought they did not wee where thet slept

What can I do to help my betta fish start eating again? One problem's resolved, he use to lay on the bottom of the tank all the time and never swim around much so I cleaned out his tank and filled it with warmer water, and he's MUCH better, he swims around now and seems like he tries to eat when I feed him... when I feed him, he actually goes up to his food and bites it again, but then spits it out... I've tried flakes, dried worms and this other special food that's supposed to reduce stress and stuff... In my other question about him I got lots of great answers and I've helped him out and all, but the only problem is he won't eat... He always spits out the food, and now he's starting to just ignore it... Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I have 2 parakeets, one I've had for 3 years, the other a few months. While I had the other one, he liked me but never wanted to get on my hand, he'd actually nip at me sometimes. I have school and I didn't want him to be lonely so I got him a friend. Naturally, he and the bird bonded with each other and now they don't really want any connection with a human. Mistake on my part for putting them together first. But can you give me any tips on doing more with them and things like that? One of them has clipped wings and the other one doesn't.

i feed them crickets all the time............. but mealworms eat them for the inside out! i have had them for all moth a year & there getting bord with th crickets. and my mom is getting mad of having too go get crickets & the crap for the crickets exspensive.

the spot on the albino geckos is on the side of the body and spreads to the belly. From my expeirance in life it looks as if its a bruse on a human. I can tell by the color that it might be blood and i am wondering if it will live and be healthy. If anyone can offer any insite for me i would be happy to hear with all ears

Is this a common problem amoung felines? Is there a usual cause? Should I take him to the vet? We thought it was humorous at first but it has lasted like a year now. Bad mom I know. I think he's allergic to cats!

I go to work everyday and come home at night. My beagle was the only one left inside the house..so when i came home, everything was a disaster! my sofa,shoes..everything. I already tried to put him on his cage, but he kept on barking and didn't like to be there. I live in a condo, and it's a shame if he keeps on making a noise. Please help..i hope it's not too late.

My dog got a hold of our can of fish flakes. She ate probably any were from 3/8 to 1/3 of the can. She was very vicious about us taking it away from her. She must have really liked him.

Can this be harmful for her? Should I expert her to throw up? Are there any serious side effects?

i'm confused about this pleco's name because some site says its Ancistrus hoplogenys "WhiteSeam", and some say Ancistrus cf. hoplogenys.

I have 2 turtles. Their names are Toby and Johnny (my sister named him Johnny, I told her we should have named it Dexter, but she did'nt listen!) and there's only one thing that bothers me....
I'm not totally sure if it's a boy or girl or not....
So, when they are adults, I don't want to be freaked out if I find out that they are females....so yeah. I'm changing their names. I was trying to find a name that fits both boy and girl, so I was thinking about Alex and Daryn.

But Daryn reminds me of my cousin....who passed away. :(
and Alex is this really cute guy in my class, but I don't care about him, so I'm using the name anyway. It's not like I'm naming it after him. I just like the name. So I'm definetly using Alex. I'm not sure if I'm using Daryn. But I really really like that name. Here are other names I can't use cuz of personal reasons:

Sam/Sammi
Daniel/Danielle
Or any other weird food name like, "cupcake"
I also don't want a dumb name like "speedy"
I want a real one!

What would you have don if your sons and a neighbor wittnessed a dog being abandoned? This just happened to us yesterday My neighbors dog was barking at a younger woman walking a Pomeranian mix up our road, she got to the house across the road from us and a truck pulled beside her, the driver was heard saying to leave the dog. She took it off the leash, got in and thet drove off. My 19 yr old ran in and quickly said what happened. I said go get it (it was in the 20's out). We took it in and since I can't keep it I'm trying to find a responsible new owner for him. I have many other animals including a large and a mediun dog. They all are getting along, but I can't handle a third dog. I did call Animal Control and reported it, but since no one thought to get the tag, nothing can be done. However my oldest son has an excellent memory for vehicles, he thought he reconized it. We live in a smaller toen and sooner or later he'll see the truck again.

I LOVE them, they are so beautiful, but here's the thing, I live in NYC. I know they are pond fish, but I waaaaaaannt them, a few of them and I know they can grow to be very large, I've seen a few pet shops selling them but they are tiny, but I want to order some like 6-7 inch koi fish. Is this a good idea because I'm willing to buy a huge tank like 250 gallons or so, What size tank would you recommend , and if I do buy it it wont just be Koi, it would be a mixture of Calico Shubunkins and they grow to be just as big, some Fantail Goldfish, they get big too. Can u help me out?

she had been spayed a week ago and is a shih tzu pup, she had a huge incision on her like 3 inches long. now she is not eating or drinking and is throwing up brown foamy stuff and pooping bloody brown/red mucus slimy stuff. does anyone out there know what this could be? im scared and worried cause this puppy is from my two dogs litter so to me its like a grandchild....please help me find out what is wrong with her dog

I have noticed that there are several pictures on the internet where they show abused APBT's. They're either burned, tied down, dehydrated, etc.. I mean, the list is endless. I just don't know where this things actually happen, it is very cruel and unhuman. I'm not really asking a question though, but it really bothers me; especially when there's so many people out there that hate APBTs. I wish humanity would open up their eyes to reality...

i have a black lab and he is 5 years old and he keeps geting hot spots and he lives in side and go outside when he wants and i took him to the vet like 30 day ago and he went on meds and he was good as new no i see to day he has a new hot spot big to what shuld i do and shuld i get vet help and it cost me like 200$ to take him!!!!!to the vet . can i fix it my self and how can i pervent them all together

What is the best cure for a cat that haas flu? I went for a trip to california and i took my cat and we stopped at reno and my cat cought a flu cause it was too cold in reno so i am wondering how can i help my cat to get better from the flu? Ok, I can not seem to get my little goldfish's tail to heal I have used Maracyn 2 for the 5 day treatment that is recommended along with 7 days of Melafix. I do 25% water changes every 2 days I use salt and stress coat and all my levels are perfect I even vacuum my gravel with my water changes every 2 days. Why does my 1 gold fish have tail rot (that has now turned into tail AND fin rot) while my 2 other fish are fine? And why won't her tail and her fin heal? not only is it not looking better.....I think it is looking worse...getting shorter. Yet she seems ok, meaning, eatting and actting normal. I have had such a hard time with this little fish that I feel soooo bad for her. I am at the point that I almost wish she would die....that would be so much easier then to watch her lose this battle slowly.
