Have you changed his diet? If so, that might be the cause. But no, it is not normal for your puppy to have severe diahrrea. If I was you, I would've gone to see another vet already. Trust me, there's vets out there who are just like medical doctors. Sometimes they tell you that everything's ok, when if fact, there's something wrong.

Diarrhea is abnormal . Your should always be concerned about frequent diarrhea. Perhaps your dog has food allergies, perhaps there is a parasite problem, maybe something else. There are many things that cause diarrhea. You should get a second opinion. A vet should not have told you this is normal. By the way-if a fecal check is done for parasites (which it should be). Ask them if the check for giardia in addition to doing the standard floatation. The in house floatation many vets do to find parasites will often find worms and coccidia but giardia is hard to identify. Giardia is a parasite that is a commn cause of diarrhea in puppies and kittens. Some vet practices have an inhouse test for this specifically (it should not be over 20 dollars) Good luck

attempt a weight loss plan replace, the present nutrition isn't agreeing with him. maximum canines get rid of two -3 days, counting on feeding schedules. and you will detect an excellent, severe high quality Kibble or uncooked nutrition removes his waste by way of a million/2. My Dobe has been on uncooked nutrition for roughly 6 months, and he purely has to do #2 2xs an afternoon now and the stools are much less and scents much less smelly. that's authentic, You get OUT what you put in.

Well, if the vet says everything is dandy, of course he's right. Oh, wait, I forget that the vet here would tell you your dog was fine if you took it in with a raging infected cut and didn't tell the vet you thought it was infected.

Take your dog to a different vet.

If you feed your dog canned dog food or give it milk... STOP these can give it diareha really badly.

Also if you spay or neuter a dog. It can cause diareha.

If you are giving him too much dry food that could cause it, just give him a good varied diet and make sure he has plenty of water.
