He's an outside cat, so he gets into fights, but he's gotten scabs from being scratched, and it causes his fur to stick together. I've tried to brush it out, but it didn't seem to do any good.

really resists going back into his cage. He's spends a lot of the day out of his cage but when we need to go out and put him away, he flies off, gets nippy and it's just so difficult.

So far, we have tried tricking him into his cage, but he learns so fast they never work more than once. We've tried toweling him but he's sees the towel and he's off!

How on earth can we sort this out? Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it? Be so grateful for any hints. Thanks!

When I was younger, about 6 or 7 I guess, our bay sitter of the time *think home daycare* had a dog I remember being reffered to as a miniature collie. Sure enough, what I remember was a little bitty dog that looked just like a rough coated collie.

As of late I've been entertaining a mild obsession with dogs in general, and I've found that what I beleived then is not true: Not all breeds come in miniature. So my question is, did the baby sitter have a dwarf, or is there really a breed that ressembles a miniature collie? For all I know she may have been conned into buying a pomeranian that just happened to have those markings. it's been more than ten years, so I don't remember the exact characteristics.

I.m considering buying a Parrot. Any ideas on what to do with the bird when you go away. Getting someone to come and feed is not a problem, i'm more concerned with the lack of attention. I've read these birds bond quite alot with one maybe two people. I can't imagine being left on its own would be such a good thing. Any ideas??

This causes her to throw up a lot because she never chews her food. It's in her mouth and down the throat it goes.
She's 7 years old. Golden retriever.
Is there a method to help solve this?

I have an eight month old cockerel that hatched last year. I need a different cockerel so we can hatch more chicks out (without them being inbred!) and wondered if anyone knew where I could find one. He's a Rhode Island Red so any cockerel would need to be of a similar size. I live in Yorkshire and I'm not going to eat him (I know what you lot are like!)

I am currently looking to rehome my 18 month old Border Terrier but am very concious of finding a good home.

One of the gentlemen I have been speaking to seems nice enough but he is insistent that the best way to control the dog is through use of a choke chain.

I personally dont agree with it but thats just my opinion. What does everyone else think and is there any vetinary evidence one way or the other.

Whenever she comes over to my house, she will constantly say things like my dog, Jay Jay, is something bought out of a store and sometimes she will even go to the extent of whispering in my dog's ear, saying stuff like "how would you feel if I rip your fur out..." After she leaves, Jay Jay, understanding human speech, will always look so sad compared to normal days. how do I tell her nicely to leave Jay Jay alone?

Hello all
Tinkerbell is 7 months old and my baby, I love her to pieces......I didn't like cats before but now I love all animals..........got an offer to start my Nurse training in September, which I have been waiting a long time to do and is my dream, but can't take Tinkers with me for the first year as I'll be in uni. accomm. Now I've got a cat, I can't even find a new room to move into as nobody wants a pet in their house! Even if I can find a family or friend to look after her for a year, they won't want to give her back and she probably won't recognise me and it will be stressful for her. I could not stay in uni. accomm. for the first year and try and find a house that accepts cats, I can't bear to leave her, even for one night! Just wanted to know if anyone has been in this situation, or had any ideas. Thanks
