what does it mean in her cat world.i pick her up and shes so over the top with licking my neck,hair,face.

Hi there...some cats are naturally drawn to the salt on our skin, however some cats are very affectionate and this could be the case for your cat.

It could be just affection.... or it could be a scent your emitting.
Maybe a body spray, soap, etc. you are wearing is attracting all of the attention.... OR LACK OF. Animals (dogs especially) have a VERY keen nose. They have been known to ....after a good smelling bath esp. .... to go roll around in the most yuckiest smelling stuff imaginable (trash, etc.) > Maybe if nothing more than to disquise themselves (camoflauge, if you will) their scent, from all the other keen noses out there.

Ahhh, this is serious love, these are kisses!!! This has nothing to do with salt or anything else, just love it wants to give you. Serious kisses. She also seems to be grooming you, now that is real love from a cat and does she try to cut your nais with her teeth? She will. She is mothering you and loving you. Not all folks have that affection shown to them.
