I have adopted a 9 year old gorgeous cat , she has been with current owners since she was kitten- she has adapted reasonably well, but has not eaten much since she arrived. She has used her 'toilet' though, so I am assuming she has eaten something.. She does not let me anywhere near her, just bares her teeth and turns her head away. My house is not big, but she has already managed to find several hiding places. Most of the time when I am around she sits at the corner, head turned away, when I approach and talk to her she usually looks at me, but it is obvious she does not want me to get any closer.
What would you suggest I do with her food? Could I try fresh fish, would she eat it? What about cream/milk? Her favorite meals are tuna and chicken, I have tried them, but I don't think she touched them. She also gets dry food and fresh water.
Would you leave her alone, just talk to her, but not try to get too close to her and her teeth..?

My cat, Itty, keeps hopping from litter box to litter box, (we have 2 boxes), we think it may be a UTI problem. We can't get her to the vet yet because she was a stray and not too socialized yet. Can anyone suggest any home remedies?

Ok, I got this live frog habitat a few weeks ago. I ordered 2 tadpoles for it and I got it in the mail today. When I got them I found them FROZEN ! I put them in the frog habitat after 30 minutes, and now their not moving. Do you think they can unfreeze? What should I do?

I would like to tell you about my alexandrine,about 2 months ago I notice my parrot acting strange,she has this travelling carrier that we take her to vet we always put a towel on the bottom,well she startted shredind this towel to pieces, she work really hard on making this nest I guess.she is the only bird I have,she's never been with a male bird.I guess 2 days ago I found this cute egg inside her carrier,now she is always inside her carrier and sits on top of her egg,she is very protective of this egg I t makes me sad because I know no babies will ever come from the egg.I know I will have to remove it at one point but I dont want to break her heart will she reject this egg at one point,will this egg make her sick if its kept with her what do I do, Its making me sad to.please help.

I'm really worried about how this is going to affect his life as he really wants the cat to love him. He's tried allt eh usual techniques such as giving her King Prawns etc, but this hasn't worked. A friend suggested that we take our cat to an animal hypnotist to make her see sense. What do you think?

Hey guys I have a problem with my female cat. I had her for about 8 yrs now, and she is litterbox trained. But when I recently moved she is starting peeing around the premimiter of my living room . She found and uses the litter box, so I know that she knows where it is, but how can I stop her from peeing around or is somthing else going on? Thanks guys!

I am hoping to start a new service in my area.
I want to let peoples dogs who are left home alone out for a pee and a poo.
I have an enhanced police check and references.
I just cannot come up with the right words to describe the service I want to offer without it sounding strange.
I have done my research and there is no one else in the area who offers this service.
I would also feedcats if the owners were away.
I already have several people who want to take advantage of it.
I need to get the Ad in by Wednesday so it is in the local paper next weekend.
I would clear up after the dog, feed it and refresh its water if required..
Any suggestions for wording of the Ad and Name of my new business would be really gratefully received also what insurance would I need to take out?

I have a 5 month old Red-Nose Pit Bull puppy. I got him when he was 3 months old. The problem is that he sneezes out a lot of "snot", all the time. The only precipitating factor is just breathing. He appear to be developing normally. He eats, plays, and eliminates normally. If it is just allergies, is there anything I could be giving him to make this matter easier?

An aquarium with two guinea pigs were thrown in a dumpster at a park in East Lansing MI left to die. East Lansing Sanitation found them before it is too late and saved them. WHY would someone do this? I really want to know an answer besides the fact that there are sick individuals out there.

Got him just before xmas,hes 9 years old and was with his previous owner from a baby. She had no problems with him feeding. He ate the first mouse I gave him but after that he just hasnt been interested at all, I have tried every week but hes just not Interested, hes drinking, moving around and pooing. But not eating.

i have a 10 month old lab puppy, who is very cream nearly white in colour
we all love him dearly but he sheds so much, i have a hoover which gets rid of pet hair and things but as soon as you have hoovered the place is as bad in 2 seconds again
Just wondering if anyone has any tips, i have put throws over the chairs but then they get covered too!
I hav used brushes from the pet shop as well as ordinary clothes brushes.
