For the past few days, my 1 year old Emma is attracted to 1 corner in my bedroom. She will either stare at it, look up and down like she is looking at something or paw at it. There is nothing there though! Any ideas? Last night she was pawing/scratching at it as if she was trying to catch something.

Hi, we moved house 5 months ago and when my cute cat age 18 was scared by a neighbours cat she then was afraid to go out. She's much better now but only goes outside now and then. Unfortunately she uses my small utility room as a toilet overnight! I have heard her go through the cat flap at night but she only wants to do one wee in the litter tray, so most mornings I am faced with a terrible mess to mop up! If it was summer I could probably lock her out overnight (weather is too cold at the moment) but then we would hear her constant scratching at the door all night (she is fine during the day and doeasn't wee indoors)…help!

My boyfriend and i brought a male balloon molly and three females. We then introduced another male balloon molly who was smaller then the original mollly. The original balloon molly showed him who was boss of the tank and would occassionally chase him but nothing to drastic. The second balloon molly gradually grew to be bigger then tyhe first one and two nights ago the roles were reversed and the 2nd molly actually stood up for himself and has established himself as the leader. The thing is it's as if being top dog had gone to his head. He was constantly chasing the first balloon molly and wouldn't leave the poor thing alone. To avoid him being chased to death we've had to put the 2nd balloon molly in our tank in the bedroom. (Which he cant stay in as he's on his own and the tank is a small one only for tiny fish) We don't want to get rid of him, so shall we try putting him back in the original tank and if he starts the bullying again take him back out until he eventually learns

I have a 180 litre tank - we have been keeping cold water fish in it but we had one large 'fancy' goldfish who killed and ate all the other smaller fish. The tank has the capacity to be tropical (there is a thermostat already fitted and it has all the correct filters etc) so I have decided to clean it out and start from scratch (don't worry the goldfish have another tank to go to!). My friend has mentioned that Red Belly Piranha are quite cool - I don't want to keep them because of their fierce image (I hear that's not the case anyway) - I think they may look quite cool and different. Any tips on how to keep them/feeding etc would be really appreciated. By the way, I live near a very reputable aquatic centre so will also be asking for advice from the professionals before buying any! I'm just interested to hear any info people have to offer - thanks!

If for example, you own a short hair siamese cat/Seal point, & 75% of her nose and the back of her paws were pink, would that mean she's not a pure siamese?

I read alot about cat pregnancy & they always say that the bigger her tummy gets, the more kittens she's have, but how big is big?! lol I know it's a stupid question, but I always wondered about it! :)

another related question is how big is a newborn kitten?
& how many kittens can a siamese cat have ? "average number".

thnx :)

I have two dogs that eat snow regularly, and I just bought some Prestone Driveway Heat for my drive and sidewalks. Is this a potential hazard to my dogs?

Ok!

How do I start I have 4 healthy dogs checked out by the vet and ready to breed. But when they are here I wanted to sell them. I just don't want to be doing anything illigel. I know what somepeople are going to say first you need to study the breed and go to dog shows and I did that. And for the breeders out there can you give some advice or story about your breed.

Today our kittens will be 5 days old, and from day 1 they have been in a plastic dog crate with the top off so it's just like a large box, there is a small pillow on the bottom covered with a towel I change every day.

This morning I got up at 6, and DH was home from work sitting on the couch, next to him on my electric blanket I keep on the couch, were all the kittens, I asked him if he was hanging out with them, he said " No, when I got home they were all here, I thought you put them here and forgot them, So I put them back in the box, went to the kitchen for a drink and Coco (momma cat) brought them all back.

Hm I sat with him and after a while, I decided to put them back in the box, Coco was out of the room, she came right back and picked one up and brought it back on the couch, and went to get the rest, I just got them for her, and she just lied there with them.

At 6:30 my kids got up, and DH went to bed, I told them about what Coco was doing, Kittens were still on the couch, now the kids put them in the box, as soon as the last one was in the box, Coco took one and put it back on the couch!

So now it's 7 am and I have 6 kittens on my couch, anyone have any idea why she she keeps bringing them up there?

She eats kitten food, but won't drink water, though she will drink milk. What should I do? She cries when she uses her litter tray. She is otherwise very alert and playful, but this worries me.

I want to adopt a female jap. chin pup for companion purposes o nly. I found one that is 6 months old & weighs 2 and a half pounds! Average chins weigh anywhere from 4-7 and then some may even weight up to 16-18lbs! There are two different sizes of chins. Anyways, the 2.5 lb. 6 mon. old girl is absolutely precious. I want to adopt her so bad, but I'm a little worried since she is so tiny and possibly having health or genetic problems that I don't know about now or later on. The lady is willing to give me a 72 hours health guarantee where I can take her to the vet and get her checked. She has also had all of her shots & has had no health problems and potty trained. She hasn't started her on heart worms and that concerns me (she has a lot of other dogs too). Should I adopt her & take her straight to the vet or wait. The lady bought her for herself to breed, but the puppy is too small to breed. Pup is not resistered, I don't want to breed/show. Should I get this pup or keep looking??

I read in the paper today about a dog that was part "doxen". Now, I know what a Dachshund is, but I've never heard of a Doxen.

We have two, and the others' bum is sometimes of great interest.

They're both indoors-only, eating the same food,* so they can't be sniffing to see who went where and ate what, I wouldn't _think_...

* Mostly. One likes the odd small treat of people food; she slupps spaghetti with butter and cheese, and eats, of all things, eggplant and Cheerios. The other is apparently a refugee from a dairy farm; he'll down any cheese, cream, milk, butter, ice cream, etc, left unattended for more than sixty seconds. But that's not frequent enough, I'd think, to make things that interesting.
