and now she isnt having any symptoms of her being in heat and is acting wiered towards me and our other cat. we let her have her kittens because the vet said it would probably be ok just this once and we already have about 10 people wanting kittens just in case she has that many because of all the unwanted cats:)

my slider turtle just doesn't do anything and won't eat its food.Maybe it's because my turtle doesn't have a tank and has very small space to live in.It also doesn't have any light bulb that shines on it. And it doesn't have any ledge to walk up and get dry. It usually sleeps and the water i put for it is not enough so it can swim into. It always sleeps and has very cold water.

I am trying to find out if you can breed feeder rats with their siblings and not get the genetic disorder of a blood problem that could kill my snake I read a year or so ago about how there is a blood disorder that will kill your snake. I can't find that web site any more and I need to know because I have a male and female that are from the same mom and dad but different litters

They are floppy ears similar to that of a lab, yet more upright. They aren't typical pomeranian ears, but i love them. Is there any way I can train the one ear to stay down like the other? He is three months old (teething)
Thank You!

the lady i bought him from emailed me today and asked me to check and see if he had both, and to my surprize he has only one, i guess another male in that litter has only one too. now heres my question. when i bought this puppy it was for breeding to my two females, they all are well bred and are show quality, this lady knew what i wanted him for, this is very hereditary and i can not breed him. he is five months old, i told her i should get my money back and that i do not want him,she said he had them when i bought him at 8 weeks so she will not take him back, is that possable that he had them then but not now. Do you think i'm wrong asking for my money back? this lady is a big time dog shower & breeder. i payed good money for this dog and can't afford to take this kind of loss, and on top of that it will cost about $380.00 to get him neutered.I plan to cream this so called big time boxer breeder,s name all over the state of calif, i will be at every dog show she is at with that male

I have 3 blue danio with some other fish in a 5 gallon tank. I bought some other fish and know one of the blue danio that was always at the top with the other 2 is just lying on the floor. And his face looks kind of weird. Whats going to happen? The water in the tank is all clean.
What can I do?

Hello. I was just wondering how much having a horse costs yearly? I mean not including the inital fee of the horse. Just the bedding and feed. I'd like to own a horse but I'm not sure if I could afford it. Also what are the best sites to search for horse listings? Thank you.

My female dog is 2 and a half and she's not been mated before. She is ready for her stud now and yet having stood for him she then yelps and panics when he actually enters her.

He somehow managed a tie this afternoon, but it took it out of him so much I thought he was going to flake out with exhaustion.

I am due to have the second mating in a couple of days, will I always have to go through this where she is uncomfortable or will it improve later in the season or with age?

In addition to this I am concerned that if the mating itself caused her to react like this, how will my girl cope with the pain of whelping.

I have checked The Book Of The B*tch and it does not mention this particular aspect of mating.

Thanks for reading.

My hubby thinks it stinks. I think its sweet, just like the smell of a new baby. How many think so too? It doesn't stink, its fresh and clean, hasnt been into dirt, or poop, or got that bad dog breath yet, its perfect! Like my new puppy, isnt he adorable?

NO!! grr i see this way too often where college students or parents will buy a betta, but it in a small bowl with ice cold water and leave it there, cause they heard bettas can live without any maintenance. what a load of crock. i hate to see bettas in little bowls with nowhere to move. they do amazing with other tetras, and livebearers. just not with other bettas of course. bettas need heat. and proper food. and regular 1/4 water changes weekly, so my question is, does anyone else know this?

i need some tips on how to get my foal to mind.
we took her off of her mom about 3 weeks ago. and thats not the problem. they were ready to be apart. but Ember (a little over 6 months now) the foal has no manners. we got a halter on her. and we can get a halter on her fine but when you try to touch her while its on she flips (like if you try to hold the halter. we have no problem getting it off).
now if we go into the pin she is in she pins her ears back. she doesnt nip kick or anything like that she just lays her ears back. and i dont want her going wild on us. she is 1/2 mustang. and her mom Flicka is full blood and is so sweet.
i just need tips on how to get her some manners, halter breaking, and leading. well if you have any ideas on web sites or any tips at all i would love to hear them. thanks for the help.

I bought him at the third pet store I went to. All the others had discolored Bettas and I didn't think that it was healthy. At the last pet store, I found a discolored one, but with a beautiful body/tail. He's got red on his fins, but the rest of him is white. I was wondering if that is normal. The lady at the pet store told me that he'd get his color back soon. Is there anything I can do to help him...or is he destined to be discolored forever?

Today I took a look at my puppy *papillon, 11weeks give or take* and noticed she looked chunkier than I swear she looked yesterday. I got her on the scale and sure enough she's put on more than half a pound in less than a week, but that's not the bit that's got me all worried.

She's sleeping on my lap right now, belly up and there's a deffinant lump in her stomach. It's like this alien thing, I was just kinda feeling around and unintentionally put a bit more pressure on the lump and it went down, kinda like squeezing the air out of a section of baloon. Within seconds the lump reffilled with a gurgling sound. Feeling around some more I found her stomach in general is behaving like this.

I have an appt for her tomorrow afternoon, so telling me to see a vet is moot point, but please for the love of god tell me it's just gas or something so that I can sleep tonight. Don't lie to me, though.
