My hubby thinks it stinks. I think its sweet, just like the smell of a new baby. How many think so too? It doesn't stink, its fresh and clean, hasnt been into dirt, or poop, or got that bad dog breath yet, its perfect! Like my new puppy, isnt he adorable?

My dog does not have a "that new puppy smell;" however, she has a distinct min pin smell that I love. I sometimes find myself sniffing her just to get a whiff of it and smile. My boyfriend says she smells like a dog, but I say it's the min pin smell.

Even though some might think it is strange, I also like the smell of puppy breath. My mother was keeping a young Boxer pup for my brother for a few weeks and she calls me on the phone and says "Sassy's(the puppy) breath stinks." I had to laugh and I told her," her breath doesn't stink, that is puppy breath". Of course she thought I was crazy and said " I have never heard of such a thing." I told her you'll see it'll be gone soon. Yep, Like the puppy breath!!!!

The smell of her fur? Well, I'm not sure since I haven't gotten a dog in a year but ,yes, your dog is sssssoooooo cute! I love puppies. Heres a tip; ALWAYS brush dogs teeth once a week with a baby toothbrush to keep the odors away. Wash them once a month with no tear shampoo. Good luck!

I do love the puppy smell. Unfortunately it doesn't last very long once they leave their mother.
What's even better? Many think I'm strange because of this,but I love the smell of good broken-in leather saddle. That and I could bury my nose in a horse's neck. Most people think it's gross, but I can't explain it. Reminds me a lot of my childhood. Guess you have to be a horse person...

Awwwwww I LOVE the smell of puppy breath. That's the most awesome thing in the world. If there were a last request of smells I'd ask for puppy breath!! Ohhhhh I want my babies....

Oh definitely shes sooooo cute and lovable. But yes, i like their smell even when they grown up ( i even teach them to sleep beside me if im alone and my husband is out - i feel secure if they are beside me). Maybe your hubby dont like dogs or jealous of your new puppy???

it's normal for puppy to smell like that because his mother is not their to clean and groom him, by licking him.
i like that smell too. their very lovable, enjoy the time with your dog while he is still a puppy because you will miss it.
specially when their zooming around the house. running around in circle like crazy is the most thing that i miss on my dog.
