I've found a tiny fieldmouse living in-between the flower pots in my back garden. What should I leave outside for it to eat and drink?
Does it need some grass or hay to make a bed?
I don't want it to freeze especially now it has started snowing.
Where do you think it came from?
Thanks!!

She's got the sweetest temperament, but does snap at dogs who are excited and bouncy. She never actually bites, but does bark and bare her teeth. She was attacked as a pup and I think it all stems from this.

My cat is very unaffectionate. She only shows affection when she wants something. If ever I pick her up she struggles to be released. We've had her since a kitten and she has always been like it. Could she have a form of autism?

I have a small timber deck at my rear door. I constantly hose it down and spray with white vinegar to neutralize the smell. I have also used the products Nil Odor and Urine Off but they continue to wee on this deck as soon as they leave the house. When I am home I shoo them off the decking but it's difficult to always be there to do this. Has anyone had a problem similar to this and how did you solve it? Help me please...

I have an Eastern Box Turtle that is VERY active and seems extremely healthy, although he eats little and rarely deficates. I've had him for about 15 years now and he has never been a big eater, other than iceberg lettuce, which I try not to give him. When I sprinkle calcium on his food, he refuses to touch it or eats around that. When I give him food pellets or expensive canned turtle food from the pet store, he screws me over and avoids it. Sad to say, he seems to only like people food. In order to get him to eat SOMETHING, I sometimes give him stuff off of my plate, spaghetti and meatballs, cheesecake, etc. I know this is bad, but I've tried all the food varieties, fruit, live/dead worms and such. His environment is fine, lots of water, heat, UV light, size is fine etc and he seems very happy. He sprints from one end of his box to the other to greet me when I enter the room and is very comfortable around people. What should i do?

Should i be concerned? I was told that bitches come into season at 6 months. Other people have said she is quite small for a Labrador, could this be affecting her growth? On the other hand people have also said she is big, i'm not to concerned about her size i'm more concerned with her coming into season. Advice please

I was given a 6 month old puppy from my sister who had called her ugly...I know shocking, she was nearly bald as a pup, but now she's grown she's not bad. Although I did overhear someone say she's like 'a weasel on a rope' .....(....I am just composing myself from the indignity)
Anyway I want to call her Ugly Betty, like the TV, and then leave of the Ugly bit. She looks at me when I call her Betty, but still seems confused, She comes when I call her , anything.

We live in an old victorian in SF and there is a steep staircase both front and back. We have a tennant in our lower flat. 12 year old German Shepard feeling her age and I suspect arthritus. We've thought of slings and carrying her on our backs, but we're getting up there too. Some kind of pully? Wheel chair folks might have some ideas. . .

Im thinking of getting a small dog, prehaps a shih tzu. I work from 8.00 am to 4.30 Mon to Fri and dont want to keep the dog outdoors. I would be able to come home at lunch for 20 mins to let him relieve himself and I live near a beach so daily exercise wont be a problem. Is it fair to keep him in doors while im at work????

I am 24 weeks pregnant and have 2 Miniature Schnauzers. The female is gentle while the male is aggressive and unfriendly towards children and strangers. He may appear harmless but may just snap at them any moment (unpredictable). However, he does listen to my commands well and has never been disobedient to me. He is also intelligent but is easily jealous. I will not give up my dogs because they have been with me for 4 years. Does anyone have any suggestions to share on how to get my pet accept my newborn and make him love my baby like he loves my husband and I? Thanks in advance!
