By depressed, I mean sad, because I had 2 fish and one of them died. Ever since, the other fish barely eats compared to how he used to eat before.

I plan on taking my dog to the vet on the first when i get paid, but I was curious what to do until then. he itches his sides often, (sides of tummy area, and underneath), and caughs to where he sometimes wants to throw up, beyond normal hairballs, since I've gotten him. (still new to me). anyway, he also had worm issues, and I've been using a liquid dewormer. any ideas? it would be much apprecaited to find the possible cause, and solution!

i went to check her water in her cage,
and she was upside down
so i shook the cage to see if she would move
and her legs did, so i took her cage to my mom
she said she could be dying or molting
she has a web all around her,
and she hasnt eaten in about two weeks
cuz the crickets still in there
what do i do
and how will i know if she comes out
or is just dead

Bailey is almost 17 weeks old. I got him at 10 weeks...he hadn't had any vet care. He's since had his first two rounds of puppy shots, including lepto, and has had two rounds of Strongid. He's currently on Interceptor and Frontline. He is some kind of mix...everyone (including my vet) thinks he has a black lab body, and a Beagle head & ears. He started paying a lot of attention to his bottom last night, and he didn't eat as much as usual today. He is still drinking, though, and is happy to eat treats. I tempted him to eat some food by mixing a little baby food into it, and he lapped it right up. My biggest concern is that he is licking his bottom like crazy, which is unusual for him. And there is a metallic smell coming from his bottom. He isn't having diarrhea, either. I'm calling the vet tomorrow morning to see when they can see him, but I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas... I've read a bunch of posts, and am worried that the metallic smell might indicate Parvo...

I love birds, Ive been hoping to buy maybe.. two or three ducks. i have an appropriate living place and I have the money, but are they hard to take care of? I dont have too much time on my hands and Im not very good at cleaning up(more like lazy) So I need some advice!

I give a treat to my puppy everytime he goes outside to go potty. I think he figured me out. He went #2 twice in 5 minute interval. So I had to give him his treat twice.
And I take him out to potty about 4 times a day...
then I also give him a treat when he runs to me everytime I say "come here!"
I am not sure if I'm spoiling him too much. I am afraid he won't eat his doggy food because he gets used to the taste of his chiken flavored treats.
what should I do? Should I cut down on treats?

in september when i got my dachsund he wasn't house trained we were in the process of training him but then he relapsed and keeps relapsing how do i avoid these relapses? it may be because we have new dogs in our apartment complex or maybe because my brother came to live without me. can anyone help me? what is the best way to train him so he won't relapse

Okay, I took my dog into the vet's and they insist she has a sinus infection. I gave her the first dose of antibiotics, but tonight she is secreting bright red blood from her nose (before it was brown). I am very worried. Has anyone experienced this with their dog before? Do you have any suggestions? To top it off, she is very lathargic and the vet gave antidepressants. Why?! I am so very worried about her. Does anyone have any suggestions that may have been overlooked by me or the vet? Thank you!

My kitten has been refusing to eat and drink since yesterday and i brought him to vet for a thorough checkup. They did a X-Ray scan on him and found his pelvic fractures due to some blunt hit on his leg, well he used to be a stray cat and i rescued him from the road side. I'm really confused here and scared, I dont know what should I do with him since he has been refusing to eat and drink, often vomit after we fed him medicine to soften this faeces and antibiotic. He even got a swollen buttock too! I know i can't keep him at home for long if he keeps vomitting as he will gets dehydrated and die but he's just 2 months old! I really dont know what to do...I'll taking its to the vet tonight for dripping/fluids to keep him hydrated and i really hope he didnt get any panleukopenia virus from my other cat which was admitted to the hospital until now. According to the doc, human can transfer such virus to kitten if they handle them with the same hand unwashed. I need your advise seriously

My hamster stays in his wheel ALL the time and he never comes out.....He also sleeps in his wheel and when i take him out he is always running through my hands and squirming trying to get free...is this normal bcuz i just got him yesterday and if its not tell me what a have to do...

Just like on the 101 Dalmations movie, I see a young woman in my neighborhood who looks like her Afghan dog; tall, slender, and long straight hair. Do you ever see other people that resemble their dogs?

I also wonder if some people's dogs have personalities similar to their owners. What do you think?

I ask because if I look anything like my pit/lab mix, then I must be pretty short and stocky (not a good thing in my opinion). I do also feel like my dog has a personality similar to mine.

Just want some opinions on what people think....please no mean comments--this question is just for fun!
