What is wrong with you??!!? A timber wolf IS NOT A PET!!!!!!!!!!! Do yourself and the wolf a BIG kindness and take it to an animal care center or zoo IMMEDIATELY!! Because you have him, the animal is no longer capable of living in the wild without rehabilitation.
And YOU get a dog!! Grow up, wolves are wild animals, not domesticated pets!!! The animal is miserable in captivity. Out of your selfish need for a p****-extender, you've doomed a beautiful life to eternal misery. Shame!
Don't name it, don't play with it, take it now to a place where it can be re-introduced into the wild and live a wolfish life amongst its own. If that's not possible, let it live the rest of its life in relative comfort at a zoo or animal care facility where it may be able live with other wolves. Would you like to be kept in solitary confinement (no humans) for the rest of your life? NO!
A WOLF IS NOT A DOG! Please don't keep it with you. Please! Please! For the sake of the wolf, get a BIG DOG and name it WOLF.

Many wild animals forced into a domestic situation cause injury to humans, especially children. Others, if released into the environment, can cause irreversible and costly damage to our ecosystem. So if you are not a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, then I don't think you should even have a gray wolf as a pet.
names: timber, wolfy, illegal, wildwolf, notallowed, notapet, etc.

PETA, is huge out here in Calif. if they would just get their stuff together instead of worrying about a chicken dance. They should focus more on animals in labs for research, and puppy and kitten mills. I'm sure they don't like Digger either they probably think thats being mean to them as well. I'm a huge animal lover, but PETA is just to much for me. Go Dale Jr & HMS

I am Native american and hate it when people own these dogs!!!! There are alot of liability & laws to know about. Have u trained in any classes to own even a mix wolf???Do u have a vet that will help/servie you????And will the vet handle the wolf in event of a natural disaster etc???

i had a dog that had wolf in him we actually had a litter of part wolf pups about 13 yrs ago the names were runt,Brutus.Thor,and the most recent witch 4yrs ago was bubbha good luck what ever you name him make sure the name fits the dog

We had a big part wolf and his name was Paucho (pronounced taco with a P) Fit him pretty well. Sure miss him!
