Well, I hope you know some German! The fact is that basic German commands sound very similar to their English counterparts (i.e., "Sitz!" for "sit"; "Steh!" for "stay"; "Komm!" for "come"). What will be a great help to you (and your dogs) is to use body or hand motions to train them to perform different actions. That way, as long as you're making the hand motion, they'll know what you're saying in any language!

Let me assume that u know German language.
Now a very little step u have to take. Just find the thing they most like. It may be their biscuits, ball, chew sticks etc. Train them when their stomach is empty. I mean keep some 4 to 5 hour gap between their meal and training time. Now speak command and give them appropriate posture for command. If they start obey your command, just give their lovely thing to them. Daily regular training will sure show good result. But if you will not take these procedure seriously, they will also do the same.

Train them the same way you would if you were teaching them english commands but just use the German ones. My dad has 3 German Shepards that respond to both German and English commands. Do you know any commands?? If not try looking them up online. I know plotz is down, lout is speak, foose is fetch, nine is no and thats all I can think of right now. Make sure you work with them as much as possible, say the command as your showing them what to do, and give alot of positive feedback when they do it right. Giving treats (small pieces of cheese, small pieces of Billjack) works very well.
*Autumn is right with the commands. I got foose wrong I think*

I trained my dog yself which requires a lot of time and effort, but i think your dog learns better this way. YOu might want to enroll them in doggie training, but you don't have to necessarily. i used hand motions, words, positive reinfocement, and repetition. It's important to practice every single day with your dogs so they remeber their training
