I agree with Bexx
Just like chocolate is fatal, so is tea, and extra sugary things. Dogs arent use to those extra calories, and their hearts cant handle the added caffeine in those things....
I would keep a watch on him, and call a vet with questions and what to look out for.
You really have to be more careful next time...
that is pretty serious despite what the other posts said. Shampoo, and other things arent serious because there's no sugar and caffeine in them

I don't think there is too much to worry about. If the tea was caffinated she might be hyper for awhile. If it was a herbal tea she will urinate a lot. The sugar of course is not healthy but I think she will survive. I had a dog that used to drink ginger ale or seven up and she never got sick.

Shouldnt cuase any harm other than hypoeractivity if that. My mom used to let her chihuahua drink sweet coffee, and that dog lived to a ripe old age.

I know dogs arnt suppost to have caffine, because it speeds up their heart a little, but other than that and a little hyperactivity it should be fine., unless its a diabetic dog..but i dont know if thats possible lol. anyway, just monitor the dog and make sure that hes ok for the first couple of hrs, then he should be fine.

It's not going to hurt him, but you might have a hyper brat on your hands for a while til the sugar / caffeine wears off.

He will probably just be really hyper all night and not want to sleep. Caffeine and sugar can make them quite hyper.Just watch him. I dobt if he will let you sleep.

i don't think it'll be that bad, but just watch if he's doing anything unusual. don't let him do it again.
I have a friend whos little dog, ate a whole bag of m&m's, and it didn't affect him. lol

Anything with caffeine in it can be fatal to dogs. Their hearts can't handle it. I would call your local emergency vet clinic. They will probably want to see him right away or they may want you to induce vomiting. Please call them ASAP if you love your dog.
