All cockatiels change their color somewhat after their first molt. Males are much more colorful. The color change is usually more noticeable around the cheek and tail area. It usually happens between 4-6 months of age.
No worry. Enjoy watching the color change. Are you sure it's a female? Males show more dominant color changes. Wait and see. Go browse books and see all the different ones and how to tell if it's male or female.

It's normal that their feathers change colors as they age. You will typically see a change after the first molt (the first time they start losing feathers and growing them back.) You have nothing to worry about, your little girl is growing up!.
Mine had yellow spots on his back and his tail was yellow when he was a baby... now the only thing yellow about him is his face. His tail is grey with white streaks, and the yellow spots on his back are no more.

This usually happens after a birds first moult. As your birds are young, the first moult is probably not too long ago,and getting his adult plumage. The new feathers are growing through which your bird will retain. A grey bird I had, ended up with a bright yellow face after his first moult.

White-faced, dark grey body I should say but there is a yellow-faced grey body one at a pet store.
