I have a dog that repeatedly tries to get into a room by scratching on the door He is o.k. with the rest of the house.I remember as a kid that my mother use to use a plant to deter dogs.I would rather a natural repellent rather than a chemical.

I have a kitten almost 4 months old, and right now I'm feeding her half a cup of food per day, I feed her 3 times a day, but she is still constantly hungry and stands near her bowl meowing at me all the time! What should I do?? I also feed her a saucer of milk (cat-type, that you find in supermarkets) daily and occasionally some chicken/fish.

I have two cats. They stay in all the time apart from going out to the balcony. The female cat sneezes all the time. She had this last year too, i took her to the vet. Nothing. Shes sneezing and she s pulling her upper lip up and making this funny noise like she s trying to get something out thats stuck there. She doesnt have runny eyes or a runny nose, nothing. Just the sneezing. I vaccume and dust every other day so it cant be that either. Help please?! She seems fine, playing, sleeping, eating... Just doesnt seem right that she gets these sneezing fits. Thank you.

hi i have to move from my home but i have 7 cats that i love so much and dont want to leave them behind, they mean the world to me there my babys, there all dependant on me in there own ways and i feel like im lettin them down. and i dont know anyone that will take care of them for me untill i get myself settled. can someone please give me some advice on what i can do. thank you. My dog is such a wonderful baby and is the best baby anyone could have. However, I think he is a little strange. He loves carrots, and most veggies. Today took the cake, he ate frozen broccoli and begged for more. Is my baby strange or do all dogs eat frozen broccoli?

I want to know if anyones dog has had side effects such as inability to use back legs properly, lethargy and rapid breathing from putting Advantage (not advantix) on them for flea treatment. If so pls advise what happened and if vet believed it was the problem or not. Advantage and my vet do not believe that the product is capable of causing those problems although I have spoken to several people who have had the same experience.

Hi have a 6 yrs old German Shepherd. She recently had hematoma. Our vet manage to drain it - we did it frequently. Now, the wound has healed. Unfortunately, her ears has dropped ever since. It has left a pretty thick layer on her ears. I really really hope she can have her ears stand up again. Will that ever happen? What can we do to get her ears standing again? The vet said, the chances are 50-50 and the only thing we can do is give her hot water treatment (place a cloth dapped in hot water). So far, it doesn't seem to work.

I have a 3 year old lhasa apso who came from an abusive home before us and has bit me in the face, calf, and hands because i annoyed him with unwanted petting or food taken away. His bites are not severe, but he is a snappy dog with a scary harmful attitude. He's also bit several of my family members and visitors. Where can i give him away, but NOT a shelter that will kill him? Know of any rescue homes or trainers?

They are both female and have grown up together - I presume the rabbit is now sexually mature and doing as rabbits will - however, the guinea pig is not very keen. I have had to split them up but the whole point of having them both was that they had some company.

We already have a 7 month old tabby cat, and my boyfriend wants to get a staffordshire bull terrier as he loves dogs. I've agreed on the condition that we buy the dog as a young puppy and it must be female. Will that make things more peaceful between the cat and dog?

I have two cats and when I first got them they were so good about going to their litter box and using it.
Now they have stopped using it all the time, they tend to go on my carpet and only in the same room as the litter box, they will also pee in front of my hallway door.
I can't take it anymore and I don't want to get rid of them.
Is there a reason why they started this when they got older (they are only 1 and a half) How can I get them to stop!!!!!! ANY SUGGESTIONS?????????

I just got a fish tank and have never had fish before. I checked the PH and it says it's at dangerous levels. How do I fix that? The guy at the pet store said it would fix itself in about a month but nothing has happened. I've lost 3 fish already.
