I have two dogs that eat snow regularly, and I just bought some Prestone Driveway Heat for my drive and sidewalks. Is this a potential hazard to my dogs?

Depends on what the active ingredient is, but most likely it is toxic, most of them are. Read the packaging and it should tell you. They do make a few brands that are pet safe. I'd try to keep your dogs out of the area where you've applied this, if they have to walk thru it, make sure to rinse their feet well when they come in.

Correction: Most dogs that have a toxicity to these type of products, actually ingest it directly from the bag, not off the ground, so please make sure its put up.
