if you cant take their crying, I'll take them. I have plenty of loving to give them, and without hitting too

If you smack them you are no different than an abusive parent who beat their children. My gawd man, look at how much bigger you are then them. Does that make you feel masculine and strong? If they don't stop its because there is something wrong. If they aren't fixed and they are in heat then you have no one to blame but yourself for not getting them fixed. They could be in pain. It sounds to me like you do not have what it takes to be an owner of a cat or any other pet for that matter. The best way to get them to stop making noise is to find them a new home with owners who will appreciate and have patience with them.

This is a cat thing. Some cats are more vocal than others. You say all the attention that you can SPARE. Maybe that's not enough attention for them, and it sounds as though you don't have a lot of patience with them. Could you possibly find a GOOD home for them where they would be appreciated more???

There is a little device you can place on their collars that actually creates a white noise that drowns out their incessant meowing... wouldn't it be great if this product actually existed... I'm working on bringing it to production (so don't try to copy it !)... but in the mean time, try reading this book

... it has solutions to all of your cat training problems and after it's initial testing on human subjects... purchase my cat collar

Some cats are chattier than others. It depends on various things. When you have multiple cats they will communicate with one another with constant chittering. If youre unable to deal with this I suggest you find your pets new homes because a lot of you people don't sound fit to care for animals one bit if you feel violent tendencies for animals. Cats require attention and patience and no amount of violence, or verbal abuse will stop them form chattering about. I don't notice it and generally ignore it. Give your pets a new home and get a life. JERK

first you have to ask why are they always meowing. Is there something wrong that would make them cry such as are they hungry, litter box isn't clean enough, they are sick, etc.
If none of the above apply then the only way to stop them from crying is to learn to ignore them and when they are quiet pay a lot of attention to them. You want to rewire them by recognizing they get attention when they are quiet and ignored when loud and crying. After a long while they will change and be less talkative.

Are they fixed? That really makes a difference. Please don't hit your kitty though, try a water gun. Or making a loud noise or something. If you hit them, they will become afraid of the human hand.

if they are doing something you don't like, try squirting them with a water bottle when they do it, they may take a hint. but what if they are just trying to sing you a song of appreciation?
