No, not usually because the structure of a human cold is different from the structure of a dog cold and normally the virus can not cross over. So, not, not normally.

Sometimes what you can give a pet for a cold, is either infant cold med or toddler meds. They are not as heavy as adults, but do work. You can't give as much as you would a child but about 1/4 of it. I have used it with our dog and it works.

dog DO NOT get colds,,,,, if she has coughing or thick nasal discharge,, you need to bring her to the vet,,, she has something that needs to be treated,, it isn't a cold. could be kennel cough etc.

dogs i don't think get colds, but if they do i would take him to a vet and get him checked out
