An aquarium with two guinea pigs were thrown in a dumpster at a park in East Lansing MI left to die. East Lansing Sanitation found them before it is too late and saved them. WHY would someone do this? I really want to know an answer besides the fact that there are sick individuals out there.

I work with a guinea pig rescue, and sad to say, that's not uncommon. We have many pigs that were left by dumpsters, "set free", or left out in boxes at vet offices or animal control offices, who suffer terrible health problems from their exposure to the heat or cold.

Well obviously, they just didn't care plus they are mean, cruel & yes, sick people. Some people just don't care about animals at all, but I don't know why anyone would buy 2 guinea pigs & an aquarium and then just throw them away. If they decided that they didn't want them or couldn't keep them anymore, they could have done several other things with them. My first thought is that they could have given them to an elementary class to care for & learn from/about!! Or found a family w/children that would have loved the G. pigs or if nothing else taken them to the animal shelter. But these were obviously cruel, uncaring people!!

Guinea pigs are tropical, originated in South united states of america of america, and are hassle-loose in some areas of Africa, subsequently, they survive properly in larger temperatures. a touch warmer than sixty two is preffered. If the temperature can't be adjusted, ensure your puppy gets ideal diet C, to keep away from chilly and shop hassle-loose wellness up and is not any longer moist. ensure no cool drafts hit your puppy ( hide them with a **** partly) and provide them extra suitable bedding a preferrably a house or cubby hollow to snuggle in.

I live in Michigan and am very familiar with the Lansing area. There are a lot of mean heartless people out there.

A sick person who needs to die. DOn't judge Michigan or anything, but that person should be thrown in jail for the rest of their life.

I can only say that they were sick individuals, because a sane person would find another home for them if their kids had allergies to them or they were going overseas etc.
These are not dobermans we are talking about, even a pet store would have taken them for resale. No I'm sorry sick individuals is the only answer when it comes to something as simple as this.

Because people are dumb and stupid! And don't know how to treat anmials.
Also, maybe they couldn't afford to keep the guinea pigs or they thought they were getting sick so they just through them away.
