Ask your vet - usually 8 - 10 weeks. However, if possible, put the kitten back with the mother for another 5 weeks. She's WAY too young to be taken away. My vet recommends keeping kittens with their mothers for 10-12 weeks. They will learn proper social behavior, litter box, eating solids... all stuff that's hard to teach kittens.
That being said, I have 2 cats, one was taken away from his mother at 2 weeks - he was injured, and she abandoned him - the mother was feral and had her kittens out of season - mid Feb. So we took my cat, and his siblings - both the ones she abandoned and the ones she took. Then we caught her, and got her spayed so she wouldn't have kittens again.
My cat who was 2 weeks, had to be taught everything, and babied for 3 months till he could walk. By then, he was used to being carried around, and had no real social skills when it came to other cat interactions. He still doesn't like being around other cats, but loves his people.
My other cat is 6 months old, and was destined to be a barn cat if we didn't take her at 5 weeks. She is a holy terror. Doesn't know how to properly behave around other animals - she never learned from her mother. She still wants to play like she did when she was 5 weeks old - which is very rough. She also had to be taught how to use a litter box, and is now obsessed with it. She has to get into the box every time she passes it. I believe this is because we had to train her how to use it.
Good luck! Just be prepared for some improper behavior from your kitten, and if she's anything like my kitten, some things that you just can't teach her - not from lack of trying.....

clutter trays, scratch poles for whilst your kitten is somewhat older, your kitten will like scrunched up products of paper or balls, some kittens chase ropes around its a sturdy thank you to maintain them in good shape, kitten nutrition and kitten treats for in between nutrition yet do no longer supply your kitten a lot because of the fact it gets used to it and that's going to be getting spoilt each and all of the time. A bowl of water could be acceptable, its no longer sturdy in case you supply a kitten cow milk whilst its youthful because of the fact it has lactose and especially situations it motives diarrhoea which truly pongs. Kittens/Cats are self sufficient so some kittens regulate right this moment to their new environment, on the different hand some kittens will stay of their provider/container for a on a similar time as or merely get out and are available across a lot.My kitten adapted properly to his new environment and clutter experienced himself! A tip for the pooper scooper is get one with little holes in so the clutter will conflict by and the feces continues to be on, purely scoop the section with the feces and something of the clutter would be ok.especially situations you do no longer could desire to subject with cat baskets because of the fact in case you get your kitten some thing plushy and great gentle it extremely is going to thankfully sleep on splendid ( im uncertain approximately all kittens).

Your kitten is a little young to be away from her mother, but take her to the vet and they can begin the preliminary stuff for her.

she is too young to be away from her mum, you might find she'll suckle on your skin or other objects. Maybe not though. Make sure if you do worm her to give her the exact dose.
