can some one please help me out with somthing that is puzzling me? i wanted to know the difference between a liasis olivaceus and a bothrochilus olivaceus, because if the are the same type of python why are they from a different genus?

No taxonomists out there? After looking for the info, I can see why you have so few answers! Apparently, there a lot of nomenclature changes going on "down under".

Liasis olivaceus olivacous and Liasis olivaceous barroni are valid names of the olive python:

Bothrochilus olivaceous is no longer a valid taxonimic name. (this is most lykely an old synonym for the olives). Bothrochilus is now used only for the monotypic Bothrochilus boa:

This info was valid as of 2000, but may have changed since. I think this what you were looking for, though.
