I keep my dog mostly indoors, and he knows to go on those pads but sometimes my floors get messed up. I wanna keep my home clean and not smelly either.

i recently took in an stray cat, and all i feed her is dry food she was very slim when i found her, but now it seems she's gaining a lot of weight, she eats all day and night and when the bowl is empty i fill it back up should i control how much food i give her, and also is there an easy way to take her to get wash and vaccinated without her hatting me for taking her.

I adopted a cockatiel last year, I will have had him for one year on Jan 29th. He is now five years old. The whole time I have had him he hasn't touched one toy in his cage and I have tried different ones. He loves mirrors but I found out quickly I couldn't leave one in his cage if I didn't want to get attacked. He is overall a sweet bird and I want him to be happy. Do some cockatiels just not play? Should I keep trying with other toys?

He hates being brushed. He's an Aussie, so he has really long hair and he sheds all over the place. Every time I go to brush him, he bites the brush handle, and I know that is his warning to stop. I am so frustrated with trying to deal with him. If I don't brush him, there are huge clumps of dog hair all over the floor and furniture and my allergies will act up big time. He never used to be like this, this has only started in the last few months or so.

I read on a website somewhere that if you have a puppy who pees in a spot they're not suppose to and store bought repellent like No Go doesn't work. Spraying a mix of water and lemon juice will keep them away. Dogs supposably hate the smell and taste of Lemon juice ?? Is this true ? Some of the store bought repellents smelled terrible and didn't work. Will squirting Lemon juice in places they're not suppose to go keep them away ??

Hey everyone. Just got a lionfish on Friday, right after having my water checked. Shortly after introducing my new fish into the tank, I dropped in a whole silverside. The lionfish gulped it in whole. It wasn't a huge silverside, but he swallowed the whole thing nevertheless. Tried tossing in a small piece of silverside on Sat, but he didn't eat it. I noticed his abdomen was bulging, and figured he was probably still full, plus I knew the lionfish didn't need to be fed so frequently. Now it's Sunday night and I found the lionfish dead. I know the water if safe...so the only answer I can think of is that he was overfed from that one silverside. Is it possible? Has this happened to anyone else?

In college, I had a professor who owned several cats. He said he had taken in a kitten who externally appeared to be male, and also acted like a male. But when he took the kitten to a veterinarian, the vet told him that internally cat was actually a female.

I was wondering if anyone else had ever heard of that condition before, and if they had what would it be called.

Thank you.

i have a 1 yr old female weiner dog who refuses to go outside to do her business. She refuses to do her thing in the garden and repeatedly makes a mess (urine and poo) in the house. Is it too late to change her habits and what should i do?

She just absolutely refuses to eat at HER bowl. We've tried closin rm. doors to prevent her going in, but then she'll take the food to another area. Of course she leaves crumbs all over when she does this, so we want her to eat at her bowl, but insists on her way, how do we break this habit?

i have a 10 week old kitten that I adopted from a rescue. He hasnt been eating very much so i brought him to the vet and they gave him saline injections, as well as some antibiotics- called claramox to take- although they said to give him the medicine on a full tummy. He ate a bit in the morning--so he got the medicine...but hasnt ate anything nor drank any water for the rest of the day....Im worried and dont know how to get him interested in his food. Anybody with experience have any ideas ? we love him and want hiim to be healthy!

I just recently bought a chihuahua mix puppy. I was told that her birthday was September 11, 2006. After looking online, I thought that I had until she was 6 months old to get her spayed. Now all of a sudden, my 4 year old male chihuahua mix dog is constantly licking her genitals and trying to mount her. Do I need to be worried? Is it at all possible for her to be in heat this early? I thought I had at least another month to get her fixed. Please let me know if it is possible for her to get pregnant at this age.

Thanks.
