I read on a website somewhere that if you have a puppy who pees in a spot they're not suppose to and store bought repellent like No Go doesn't work. Spraying a mix of water and lemon juice will keep them away. Dogs supposably hate the smell and taste of Lemon juice ?? Is this true ? Some of the store bought repellents smelled terrible and didn't work. Will squirting Lemon juice in places they're not suppose to go keep them away ??

I had a few lemons in the fridge so I squeezed up about a cup and a half of Lemon juice and added 1/4 cup of water in my spray bottle. It seems to bug them. As for cayenne pepper. I wouldn't use it. My friend used it to repel neighbor cats from pooing in her garden. It irritated their eyes so bad that they'd scratch their eyes til' it bled. I dont wanna harm my puts in that kinda way. So far lemon seems to do ok and a soft spank in the tush too. (^_^)

Most dogs don't like the citrus smell, so lemon juice may just work. I like the Nature's Miracle, or other enzyme cleaners, but they don't repel, but just keep the original odor diminished.

yes, lemon orange and lime jucie mixed with water will take those fleas aways. just dont get it in their face so start from the neck down. if they have any scabs from the fleas try to avoid them. but make sure its fleas not a skin prob.or, use shampoo and let it sit on them for 15 mins before getting them wet. if need be do it again after. also buy a "FLEA COMB". in the cat section at walmart, and with a bowl of water next to u put some dawn in it and those suckers will die! also at the vet u can try a pill that when the fleas bite, they die. it lasts for maybe six months and is the best thing on the market right now. p.s. dont waste money on flea collars!! those only work for cats, and very short too.

I've never heard of lemon juice, but I have used regular ground black pepper on the spot. They sniff, sneeze, and don't go back. It works in gardens, and with cats, too.

Cayenne pepper, cayenne pepper, cayenne pepper!! This works for everywhere you do not want your dog to be. Digging, chewing, peeing, or just simply on the couch. Do not use too much, but do not use too little. Works like a charm for me!

I use it for nuisance barking and it works because they do hate the taste. I have never tried it as a repellent.
