I have noticed that there are several pictures on the internet where they show abused APBT's. They're either burned, tied down, dehydrated, etc.. I mean, the list is endless. I just don't know where this things actually happen, it is very cruel and unhuman. I'm not really asking a question though, but it really bothers me; especially when there's so many people out there that hate APBTs. I wish humanity would open up their eyes to reality...

Pay attention to the beginning of that second video.....and then you tell me how adults can be foreign to the concept of right and wrong. Something so simple that a child can understand it.
Pitbulls were bred to fight bulls. Not each other......which has gotten them a bad reputation. But people forget....no dog is EVER born mean. They LEARN the bad behavior. Maybe from the scum that call themselves humans that own pitbulls and try to fight them. People also forget that ANY dog can bite......I know a good few people who own pittbulls--I have never known these dogs to be aggressive. I have seen many pitbulls at our dog park......yet they account for 0% of the fights Ive seen there. The dogs I"ve seen fighting there have been labs...boxers...small breed dogs....st. bernards.......and yet I don't see people running around like chickens with their heads caught off trying to tell other people those breeds are vicious. Because some humans refuse to see the complete disgrace that a lot of humanity has become.......they'll blame it on something that has NO CONCEPT of right and wrong. That's like saying the deer that jumped in front of your car and made you wreck was sitting there alongside the road thinking "ya know, I really don't like this person who is coming up the road here, I think I'll jump out in the road and make them wreck to show them just what I think of them."

Personally I'm disgusted with "some" of the human race that take great pleasure in mistreating and torturing helpless animals. Saying that they get abused because they are ugly or mean dogs is ignorant b-sh*t. An animal is only mean if it is taught to be so by humans or abused, pitbulls can be sweet if raised right. People are so ignorant and uneducated it makes me sick. If you want my opinion the punishment for the people that do this should be given the same way they have done to the animal. Harsh? Would they like being tied up starved and beaten and abused the same way. Most would say that is extreme, they're just animals, can you tell me who judged them to deserve less than us?. Ya got me on a touchy subject, I am an animal lover and its extremely hard for me to see this especially coming from people in our own country. You should check out the stuff that goes on in China, look it up on Google, there was a big thing on Larry King Live about it, it is horrible. Cats and Dogs and other animals killed in torturous ways for there fur, some of which sold in America under a fake "mink fur" label. Its pretty sad that we have to kill another creature to "look good." Anyway, I know I've ranted and raved enough here. I agree with you on humanity, it needs to change!!!!

Pit bulls are used for dog fights. The type of individual who can enjoy this "sport", is the type that can act without conscience. To abuse an animal in this manner suggests that the abuser has marked psychopathic tendencies. In other words, this is a person who lacks empathy and the adrenaline rush of hurting someone or something gives an intense sense of power.

I used to think Pits were kind of ugly and mean. Then I became a dog trainer and got to know them. I've met hundreds of pits in my years of training and have found them to be lovely, sweet natured dogs that are so in tune with humans they take on the human's personalities.
I find them beautiful now, their sleek muscled bodies are gorgeous as they move. I love to watch my brindle Pittie girl run the Agility course, her coat shines in the sun and her muscles ripple with good health. She is happy and joyful bombing off the A-Frame or dashing through tunnels. That is beautiful to me.

Some people are incapable of empathy. some People are so afraid of everything that they pack up their fears and stuff them into Pitbulls, then feel justified for making the dogs suffer.

A lot of people who get these dogs are uneducated, uncaring, and inhumane....They get these dogs because its "cool"..tie them up out back with little or no attention, food, and water. Or lock them in a basement and the only socialization is when they have them fight..Its sad...PB can be great pets, and those responsible owners know how hard it is to have your dog judged because MANY low life thugs who use and abuse these animals...

I am really not sure why people are this way myself, all I can figure out is they try to take their aggressions out on any animal because it makes them feel big and it would not matter what breed of dog it is they would mistreat it any way,it's just you are an animal lover which is good and you notice it more because you are

because there are ignorant people who arn't educated about the breed nor do they own one. i have one myself and he is the biggest teddy bear in the world. in fact, my chihuahuas pick on him most of the time. poor him.
people think that they are killer dog, due to irresponsible baster who use them for fighting. because they don't have enough balls to go out into a ring and do it them self.

Because they're kinda ugly and mean dogs... :/ I mean, that's what their widely known for. But that doesn't give people a right to torture them. x_x;
