Hannah had a cortizone shot last week and blood work (her hindquarters freeze up once in a while but the vet gave her a clean bill of health. Took x-rays, etc. Anyways, now her cough sounds hoarse and she is coughing up clear phlegm (spelling?) She didn't stay at the vet's - it was just a visit. Can dogs get colds?

Thanks - Jodi

This sounds like a silly question. Our kittens are a mixed variety of colours. It was my sister who brought up this issue. She thinks females can breed with more than 1 male.Is this true?I want to settle an argument. Some of the kittens dont look like the cat Ihave seen.A couple look like the mother buthere are some ringins.

A puppy has died and the mommy is still trying to care for it. She is licking it and the skin is coming off (disturbing). But when i take the dead pup away from her, she gets up leaving the litter and seems stressed. She won't seem to care for the others except the dead pup. This has been going on for hours now. What should i do?

Currently I have three male rosy barbs in an established 10 gallon tank. I'm looking to add a couple of tank mates and would like to find a good fitting fish that will get along with the semi-aggressive barbs. I have considered the Red Rainbow Shark, but I'm a little worried that these fish are too territorial and shy to get along with the Rosy Barbs which seem to be a lot more active than the Rainbow Sharks. Tiger Barbs seem too aggressive so I am thinking they aren't my best bet. I also like the Pictus Catfish, but I worry they are too big for the tank and for the Rosy Barbs. Does anyone with expertise on Rosy Barbs or Rainbow Sharks have any suggestions? Thanks!

I don't like dog hair all over the place. I want to come home from work and relax without giving my dog what's left of my energy. I don't want a hyper dog. Basically I'm looking for a low maintanence dog that is there for me when I want to play with him.

Hey, I don't know that much about dog walking services but i'm thinking of starting one so I don't have to be away from my dog for 9 hours out of the day. So do you guys have any ideas? Would you pay $10 to have your dog walked 1 mile? I've got a lot of it figured out, but I need some ideas...I'm kind of wanting to make this a full time job so I can be with my puppy and go to school. If you have any questions you want to ask, please contact me on Yahoo messenger, or if you ask it on here, then keep an eye open because I will respond to it quickly.

I have a dog named Bipsy she isnt that old, she is 1 and a half feet in height, and usally she is very sweet, but nowadays she snapps at me and growls. I try to correct her, tell her NO, and I even try to hit her, not very hard though, but she still growls and snapps at me. How do I show her I am the boss.

I have to get these papers sent tonight, however I am having trouble thinking of a unique name. Her name is Sassy, but I am stuck on what to put on the papers. Her mom's papers name is "Nothing Is Kim-Possible", they call her Kimmie. Her dad's papers name is "Sir Charie". Sassy is black and white. She is a Boston Terrier.
You can see some pics of her here:

the one at the bottom of her with her bone is the most recent.

I have a Jack Russell, and a Three legged motherly lab....Inside with me. I want to hear about any related experiences. I want to be informed before I jump into a commitment I may not be ready for.
I also have four daughters ages 3,7,9, and 11. They are all use to small animals because I had a pet rat for two years. He passed about a year ago. Any thoughts anyone?

If the ingredients list "animal digest" the pet food contains feces, probably chicken. Read your labels.
