What are the pros & cons? I heard dogs live longer if u dont spay them. Spaying a dog will make them not have a long life because in spaying them they are getting rid of their hormones cuz they wont get in heat. Is this true????? What should I do. I want my chi to live a long and healthy life

My dog is a Huskey and she has very bad eye allergies. I mean alot of dogs have eye allergies but my dog start's to get here paws sometimes and rub's here eyes and here eye's look very red. I feel so sorry for here i just don't know what to do for here. Sometimes she lays by the heater that might be the problem i dont know. Does anyone have a clue i really want to help her.

I just recently notice a black like scab on my hamster, it is kind of underneath his fur. I think it might be him biting or scratching himself. He does not seem to be in any pain. He has his normal routine of sleep, eat, and exercise.

A dog showed up at my house and won't leave. My friend thinks it's pregnant. How can i tell, if it is, and how far along, WITHOUT taking it to a vet?
I don't know who the owner is, it has NO tags. But, has had a leg removed.

We are moving to an area surrounded by national park and native animals and have decided to house our cat in an enclosure 6 meters by 6 meters by 4 metres high she will also have access to the house most of the time. I fell guilty locking her up shes always been able to come and go as she pleases.

I have never seen one like this before. It looks like it could be a shore bird, although I see it at our community 3-hole golf course greens, about 3 miles from the Pacific in central California It is slim, has long legs like a shore bird, looks a lot like and is the size of a plover. Except it has a long white neck with a narrow black ring in the middle. And has a yellow beak. The back, wings and head are grey, the underside is off-white. It seems used to people and walks slowly along the short grass seeking grubs. I have only seen it for a week and have not seen it in flight.
I have searched my bird books and googled but see nothing just like it.

His companion just died and I have no idea why. They both looked fine just the other night. I live in Temecula and the weather has been pretty cold lately. But the parakeets have been inside the house and they were fed with plenty of foods and water. I just don't know if I should set him free or get another parakeet for him. I really feel sorry for the little fellow, but would he be all right out there if I let him go?

I told them I wanted the white female betta that was in with other white fish and you could see through them and he told me that those werent bettas?? So is it possible for a white betta to be see through a little??

I recently changed my dogs food from Science Diet to a much richer food with no fillers. I gradually changed over to the new in a 10 day period. All of a sudden her poop has a terrible odor. Is this normal when you change to a better quality of food?

I am about to get a female chihuahua and it is all white with a little bit of light fawn colour. I need to think of a name for her. I was thinking Sophie but i'm not sure if that will suit her or not. Does anyone have any other suggestions or should i stick with Sophie??

Recently an annoying little dog from somewhere up the street from me, has been barking (yapping) during the middle of the night, disturbing my sleep. What is annoying is that the dog usually does it around my house, in the font or back. I don't even know what this mongrel looks like, or where it is from but I surely would like to know what I should do?

ive heard that if you buy really small angelfish and raise them in a community tank they will usually be fine. even if they are say with...guppies. Is it true? i have a 29 gallon tank, will they still go after teh guppies once they mature and gte to their adult size? or will they be fine if there is enough room? will it change anything if i buy them small and they grow up with teh guppies? are females less aggressive?

Why do people (new and experienced) in the horse world think they know it all? You can NEVER know everything about a horse....it's always a learning experience, so why do so many people "know everything?" There are a couple of people at my barn who are always giving "advice" when its not needed. I am the type who likes to work things out my own way (after all, I know my horse better than anyone else) so when I don't take their advice they get all crabby with that "I told you so" attitude. They also give me dirty looks when I hand feed my 2 year old treats. He's not mouthy AT ALL, and I don't even give him treats everytime I see him, so can't they just butt out? This just drives me crazy....what gives? Is there anyone else who feels the same way?
