I just got a betta fish and I think they are so beautiful. I was just wondering what else can you feed them besides just the betta fish food? I know they must get tired of just eating those little pellets, so I would like to know something else they could eat.

My hasband and I just purchased a brand new matress set. Within two days of owning it, our cat urinated right on the mattress. I have tried a vinegar/water solution but it really hasn't done much. I also know cat urine is especially hard to get out, but I can't take the mattress back and I don't want to get stuck smelling it every night. Can you please help?

OK here's the story I have a female cat of 11 months now. This is her first litter, and she has only just given birth to one at 5:30AM. She still has about five more to go. But it's been nearly four hours now, and she has not given birth to any more. She is not crying in pain she is just sleeping. Is this normal, or should I worry. I have already taken her to the animal hospital, and they said she was fine, but that was when she just started labor. Should I take her back, or give it more time? I mean how much time do they usually take? Thanks in advance for any info.

Okay, now before I get all the lectures about breeding, please read my entire question! I am 31 years old. I would like to educate myself on good breeding. So when all of the kids are grown and gone and we don't have 4 other animals, I can focus 100% of my time on breeding quality yorkies. I recently got one and thought about breeding her, but ended up doing the responsable thing and having her spayed. I plan on starting of small, investing in 2 quality Yorkies and starting from there. I have at least 10 years to educate myself about this and am simply asking how I go about learning. All good breeders started off having "just started". I am not in it for the money, in fact, I plan on not charging the ridiculous prices some people have the nerve to charge for these dogs! So I am simply asking for the possible future.

I've been putting off neutering my two dogs (both schnauzers, 1year old and 9 months old) until there was a time when me, or my wife, could be around to monitor their recovery. I've heard that once they start marking, they probably won't stop despite neutering. Have I waited too long?
