I need help about the heater part. Is it a heating lamp or do you install it onto the tank or something?

last night, my dog was walking across the kitchen and both front and back leg on her right side gave out, she fell down and then tried several times to get back up, but those legs wouldnt work she just flopped. then i made it over to her held her, she lay down for a minute or so, then got up and acts perfectly normal? anyone know whether this could have been a stroke or something i shouldnt worry about?

my kitten seems to only want to scratch things that are on the floor, but not things that are vertically propped up, like her scratching post. what should i do about this? she likes to scartch this really really expensive silk carpet my mom has. is it ok if i put pepper on it? will it keep her away? and will the pepper spoil the carpet?

Have you actually run out of food for your dog and just fed it whatever you had lying around the kitchen?

Even in my brokest hour I scrounged through change jars and couch cushions to get enough money for dog food!

I have a new puppy, he is 3 months old. Hes had his shots and such a week ago and I have started him on the Advantage, has anyone else noticed bad breath after application? It is a funny formaldahyde hair salonish smell, I am sorry for the poor description but thats just the bet way I can describe it. I have brushed his teeth and such to no avail so far. I think it has something to do with the Advantage though as that is the ONLY thing we have done differently, and it started about an hour or 2 after we applied it! Has anyone else had this experience???

a couple of months ago i found like a lump on my rabbit (toffee), at first i thought it was a tick so i tried to get it off but then my dad said if i left it it would fall off in its own time but a few weeks ago i showed him the lump and he said it looked like an inflamed nipple and it kept watering, but my dad is no vet so it could be a cyst or something and today when i took her out of her cage i noticed the lump was bleeding but i have no idea what is happening to her is it urgent that I contact a vet or will it go away with time?

that supposedly ate the little girls toes off? It wasn't the dog it was their pet ferret that did it, the dad just blamed the dog because he didnt like it. Another bad wrap for pit bulls that was unjustified. No wonder people think they are bad dogs. It makes me mad that they would blame the dog just because they are pit bulls!! What do you guys think?

I showed too much love for my dog while my sis would train him and teach him how to be obedient. Now that I've started to take him to classes and learn about dominance, my dog thinks he is the dominant one over me! he gives us 'kisses'- cuddling and pawing at our faces at 2 a.m., 3.a.m., 4 a.m. etc.. He also kneads on our neck and face. I tried leaving some food next to the bed thinking he might be hungry but that didn't work. We love it but we also need our sleep! anyone had a similar affectionate kitty? He doesn't do this in the daytime!!

My 1 yr. old boxer scratches all day long to the point that his neck and ears are one big sore. I took him to the vet few times now but he keeps giving him the antibiotic, which helps only for a while. The skin scrape test came out OK. I give him a bath every week with the oatmeal shampoo, but it doesn't seem to help. I also noticed little bumps on his back, and the hair on it is not as thick as elsewhere on the body. I tried drops, sprays benedryll, nothing really seems to be helping. PLease help!! I cannot stand seeing my puppy like that. Should I try another vet?

My puppy wont go to the bathroom outside, all he wants to do is play, and then he goes in my house, ill have him outside for half an hour and then bring him in and he pees on my floor. Whats up with that, how do i get him to go outside and not inside. All he wants to do is play if im out with him, or he sits and looks at the door and barks the whole time.

I currently am starting to keep chiclids have had other kinds of fish off and on for about a year and a half I know dat dey R much diffrent fish den othas so I have been doin my research it has been aroun 2 month they R all doin fine The Question is I like to clean the tank once a week while doin a 25% water change and during that time I take all da decore out of the tank is this stopin the fish from establishin territory? I know dey R territorial by nature but I can't seem to distinguish weather or not the fish R claimin a territory or can they not because it dosent go bak into the exact some spot every week when I do water change is this gonna cause a prob in da long hall?
