Yes Dogs can get colds and infections just like humans..and alot of the medications we use to treat our colds and infections work well on dogs..the first thing you want to look for is the dry nose..this is a sign that your pooch is not feeling well. But don't check the nose when the dog is just waking up because it will be more than likely dry. If the dog has a short dry cough try giving your pooch any medication made for children or babies..NEVER GIVE YOUR DOG ADULT MEDS not matter how old they may be.If you dog had goopy eyes or dry ears get polysporin drops for eyes and ears. But in all honesty if the cough persists for more than three days take the time and money and get your pet to the vets for a proper diagnosis.

You will have to on no account breed earlier than she is 2years of age. But pay attention to the leisure of the men and women on right here after they alert you approximately breeding. Breeding is greater than only a puppy having dogs. She needs to be healthful and no longer only a vet determine, however in all locations of wellness. Is she Showring fabric? Do you will have the distance for a whelping field? Do you will have cash to elevate the doggies and get their photographs and probably pay for a C-segment will have to your puppy want it? Not all first pregnancys cross good, you may also grow to be wasting your puppy as good because the dogs. The nice time to provide the dogs away is at 12 weeks no longer five or six weeks like so much men and women feel. Can you manage that? Are you simply doing this for cash?? Please have her spayed. You can appear at the entire Maltese puppy Rescue Groups in the market and notice there's no scarcity on puppies. The hyperlinks beneath are just a few that experience many Maltese in seek of houses. It's not a cold, it's kennel cough. Take it to the vet for treatment. It can also spread to other cats and dogs that it comes in contact with.

Get the dog to the vet ASAP, it could be a chest infection or kennel cough. Pets cannot get "human" colds and vice versa.

If its just a cold there is really nothing you can do. Just wait it out.
She'll be ok.
If you want I think vets or like a pet store may sell vitamin c tablets you can put in her water or food to help her get over the could fast.
best of luck.

Yes, dogs sick and they do develop resperatory infections. Your dog needs to be seen by a vet because simple illnesses can become life-treatening if they are not treated properly. Do not try to medicate the dog yourself because the wrong medicines can easily poison him.
You would see a doctor if you get sick, right? Your dog is no different.

Yes they sure can. I had to take my poor babies to the vet to get them on antibiotics, because I wasn't sure what they had, so their little cold turned into a sinus infection, but they were back to normal after I gave them the medicine.
