a couple of months ago i found like a lump on my rabbit (toffee), at first i thought it was a tick so i tried to get it off but then my dad said if i left it it would fall off in its own time but a few weeks ago i showed him the lump and he said it looked like an inflamed nipple and it kept watering, but my dad is no vet so it could be a cyst or something and today when i took her out of her cage i noticed the lump was bleeding but i have no idea what is happening to her is it urgent that I contact a vet or will it go away with time?

Silly Rabbit... ticks are for kids.

Yes, I'd have it looked at by a vet. It could get infected if it's bleeding.

I think that you should bring him/her to the vet just to be on the safe side! I had a dog named Miss.D and she had a lump on her leg that was a a small size, but grew into a size of a small gulf ball and she died from the huge lump on her leg! So sad, be on the safe side and take it to the vet, they should know what the problem is and if your rabbit is going to be okay!!

I would definitely take her to a vet. Something that is a lump and is bleeding can never be a good sign. Plus it doesn't hurt to be on the safe side.

I think you should always contact a vet when you are unsure about something....it may or may not be urgent but it's best to check with them!

It's a cyst......possibly cancerous. If you go ahead and have the vet check it out, he may can remove it and save the bunny.

DUH!! You should have take her to the vet a couple of months ago. Why can't people be goo humane pet owners and take their animals to the doctor as soon as something looks wrong instead of making them suffer until it may be too late!?
