My new neighbors leave their dog tied up outside all day. It is barking constantly for hours. I feel bad for this poor thing. It's cold out (not freezing). I thought about giving the dog a toy or treat, but it is a large german shepherd - and frankly I'm kind of scared of it. It's not really the barking that bothers me (I'm normally at work anyway). I don't have any dogs myself so I don't know if this is humane for the dog. If I bring it up to the neighbors, I don't want them to think I'm complaining about the barking or accusing them of treating their dog badly. I just would like to know from other dog owners if I should just ignore the barking or if this is a serious problem.

I will post answer tomoz at 10:00. I have left out the most well known details of this guess the breed dog as it would be too easy to guess otherwise. I mean, it's got to be a little difficult - Right!

I am 24 - 26 Inches In Height.
I weigh 70 - 95 lbs.
I have amazing strength and endurance.
I have a great sense of direction and excellent sense of smell.
There are records of me from 2000 - 3000 years ago.
I am used in search and rescue.
I am very difficult to housebreak (Usually)
If I am a male of this breed then I can be very dominant.

I have 2 female beagles who were spayed almost a year ago. They both had absorbable blue sutures at the incision site. The sutures have absorbed completely on one of my dogs, but the other dog still has a blue line on her abdomen. The wound has completely healed and is not infected or anything, but it looks like she has a blue tatoo in a straight line at the site. Does this happen often? Do I need to be concerned? Is there anyway to remove the color?

I have a Subunkin it's healthy and all been living for 7 months and its about a inch now, but since i got it all it does is it stays on the top of the tank and gasps for air, while all the other fish swim happily, i have tryed adding air stones but it still does it, should i do anything it eats fine and stuff.

i have 2 tiny stone sucker fish in a 2 foot tank with four fancy goldfish. they always hide behing the filter and i never see them..they were ok for the 1st day..but now i never see them. even if i put in food they wouldnt react. i only got these fish 3 days ago...any one know wat i can od? or will they always be like this?

My two cats mia - age 2 - female & lucky - age 19 - male are forever fighting! its usually mia tht starts fights as lucky likes to just lounge about and enjoy being a cat. They have started fighting ever since we got mia as a kitten! And it hasn't stopped! we cant keep them together as they fight and wen we go out we HAVE to leave them in sepertae rooms! Ive searched th net and it says wen u first get a kitten ur carts may fight at first but after a week or so they become friends and sleep with each other ( tht has neva happened!) but its been going on for 2 years now and i am fed up! Lucky is getting on in his years and I don't want his last few to be memories of being tormented by mia! help me!

we have 3 cats 2 girls and a boy all siblings. the boy is fixed and very calm and sweet. the one girl was a problem but now she is pregnant and behaves and in fact is super super sweet now. The cat that i am having a problem with is the one that my 2 yr old daughter is very attached to. she is sweet but gets into trouble all the time. peeing on things is the biggest problem that and yelling all the time. does anybody have any advice sorry for so long. oh and they are indoor only unless the escape like little momma. and we have 2 litter boxes that are cleaned daily. and another problem is they use the spare bathtub as a litter box no matter how much i clean it.

Are great danes easily expected to get demodex mange? I know they have the bugs all over them but I don't see how she started to get it. The only thing that is happening is that she is losing small patches of hair, about the size of a quarter, on her back. There are no sores or bumps. Today I put some used motor oil on her. Will that help?
