65 is not too cold. Just make sure that they have some warm bedding to wrap up in. I have five of my own babies and we keep our house between 65-68.

The warmer temps. are what you need to worrie about. Ferrets do not do well in them and can suffer from heat stroke. A ferret should be kept in a house no warmer then 78 degrees. Now, that can change with the ferret too. My 9 year old needs to be in an even cooler area.

As for some of your other posts. Ferrets don't do bad in colder temps. Now I would not take them outside in the winter without proper protection, but a cooler house will not hurt them. Again, just make sure they have warm bedding.

I'm assuming you mean ferenheit 65 is cold. A normal house temperature should be 70-73...
However Ferrets aren't exotic animals so they are naturally used to changing seasons and temperature. They like to have a place to hide sleep and stay warm etc... So make sure they have a good protective shelter in the cage. They will help keep each other warm by curling up together.

Given that ferrets are warm-blooded temperate region animals 65 is fine as long as it has a nice den.

Keep them at the temperature you, yourself, feel comfortable with and they should be OK. I think they prefer warmer rather than colder, though. Mine always did fine in my home, around 75 degrees.
