Yes, she will swell.

Remember, with every heat she has, her chances increase of mammary cancer, pyo, uterine and ovarian cancer (if not ever spayed).

Spaying takes away those unsightly swellings, mood swings, Swelling, bloody messes. It eliminates the unwanted male dogs that are visiting, fights and the possibility of bringing unwanted pets into the world of over pet population!

She can be spayed while in heat!!

Yes - Swelling is part of the symptoms of being in heat.

It may just be happening because it is its first time outside. Maybe I would try to keep it inside and then see if the swelling goes down. The you will find out the real problem.I really hope your puppy is all right.
The best of luck,
Shelby

Yes it does swell. Her firast heat will probably be light. You may want to watch her though, because she may begin to bleed, and it is very hard to clean up, but if this happens, use Natures Miracle.

The dog is likely already in season. Get her spayed now before you have dog visitors at your back door.

Yes and she probably has been in heat before and you didn't know it. Get her fixed and she will be better off.

yes, she will swell, and then will also bleed, I have a boxer in heat right now, and she bleeds for 2 weeks, so we use pull-ups, with a hold cut out for the tail.
