can anyone tell me the age stages for a cat meaning when a cat i considered and adult or a senior ? mine is 2 years old? he is a what??????

HE is an adult cat. That is how we would list him on petfinders.
0-6 - baby
7-18 months young but grown
2yrs to 6 yrs Adult and 7 years and over we consider senior

He's an adult.
The senior cat food (Science diet) that I buy for my cats says ages 7 and up so he's got a while before he's considered a senior.

Can't find my chart right now and your cat is a young adult - about 21 in human years. At the peak of his health and vitality.
Many vets now consider 8 years as the beginning of the senior stage of a cat's life.
At 10 a cat is in his fifties, at 15 in his seventies and at 20 in his nineties.

I have a 2 yr. old female cat and my vet told me that she is still considered to be "young". they aren't considered to be "adult" until about age 5. around age 12 is when they are considered "old"
a 2 yr. old cat is about the same age as a 20 yr. old human

when a male cat is over the age of 9 months old it means he is a fully grown cat

1 year – 7 years is adult.
Birth – 1 year is kitten.
(If your cat has a sudden desire to purchase a new shiny gold collar that is really more expensive than he needs, then that would be a mid-life crisis.)
